The French forward and currently one of the best players in the world, Kylian Mbappé, will join Real Madrid for the next five seasons in a free transfer after leaving Paris Saint-Germain.
After years of efforts and months with a lot of expectations, Real Madrid made an official announcement today, just a few days after the Spanish team won the UEFA Champions League. A top player joins a top team
After winning the UEFA Champions League again, Real Madrid confirmed its status as the best European team currently and historically. This is the team that has won most Champions League ever (15), this is the second one in three years and they also won La Liga a few weeks ago.
Mbappé, by the way, was a key player in the France’s national team that won the 2018 World Cup, and reached the 2022 World Cup Final in Qatar, where Argentina defeated France on penalties, even though this French star scored a hat-trick in that game. He is currently the French team’s captain since 2022, despite he’s just 25 years old.
This is going to be his first time in his successful career that he will play in a different league than Ligue 1.
