Celtics vs Cavaliers

Cavaliers vs Celtics Matchup Recap (5/15/2024)

As expected, the Boston Celtics were able to eliminate the Cleveland Cavaliers with another dominant performance in Game 5 of their series. Let’s see how the outcome of the game played out in terms of the betting lines set.

Spread: The Boston Celtics were actually 15.5-point betting favorites in this game, and they were unable to cover the spread in this game. Boston had a huge lead for most of the game, but the Cavaliers hung around just enough.

Moneyline: There was virtually no value in betting on either team on the moneyline in this game, even though the Celtics won. The payout just wasn’t worth the risk for the Celtics, and Cleveland never kept things close in this game.

Total: The over/under line was a tight bet all series long, and that was the case again. A desperate Cavaliers team actually helped out over bettors in this game as the two teams went past the over/under line set at 205.5.
