Wardley vs. Adeleye Betting Preview
To get the best grasp on this fight and give the best Wardley vs Adeleye prediction possible, we need to go over the betting lines and break down the film on both guys.
According to boxing odds, Wardley is coming into this week as the -380 betting favorite over the +270 Adeleye. The fight is heavily favored to end inside the distance at -320, with Adeleye at +410 to get the KO and Wardley at -132 to do the same.
Forward or Backward
From watching both careers unfold thus far, Wardley has the experience advantage of being in the bigger fights and standing in front of the more dangerous fighters–even though neither of these guys has had to get past a big challenge.
Comparing these two fighters is interesting. Wardley looks to be the lighter and quicker boxer, being able to move around the ring better and clearly has quicker hands. Adeleye is the better puncher. He is a big, bulky man with a lot of power and durability.
Wardley has gotten hit in just about every fight against someone who can actually throw a punch. We have seen him get buzzed in the early rounds multiple times. And that is a cause for concern in a fight against someone as dangerous as Adeleye, especially early.
Adeleye hasn’t faced anybody worth noting, but he is a dangerous fighter with proven experience in the amateur ranks regionally. He’s got a big lead-hand left hook that he can throw coming forward to the head and body and even going back against the ropes at the end of a combination.
Fabio Wardley vs. David Adeleye Betting Prediction
With a circus of a boxing fight coming up this weekend between Fury and Ngannou, this is a fight that the purist boxing fans can respect and enjoy.
The official Wardley vs Adeleye prediction is that Adeleye gets the upset victory via KO in the early rounds of this one. He is the meaner, grittier fighter, coming in with a lot of confidence. And knows he can get the job done against someone who is easily hit.
Take Adeleye via KO for the extra money because if this fight goes the 12 rounds. It’s going to be a very ugly and boring decision win for Wardley–but Adeleye will be able to land the big shots early on and get him out of there inside of six rounds.
- Boxing Pick: Adeleye gets the upset victory via KO in the early rounds
