This weekend in Austin, Texas, MMA legend Vitor Belfort will be taking on the son of a former boxing heavyweight champion, Hasim Rahman Jr. Check the Rahman vs Velfort Best Bets below.
This fight has an “influencer boxing” feel to it, with two guys fighting in the main event who don’t have the boxing resume you’d generally find in a headlining bout of a PPV event. Rahman is newly famous around the combat sports community because of his scheduled bout with Jake Paul, which fell through after alleged contractual issues between both sides.
Belfort had a long and successful career in MMA before making his pro boxing debut against boxing legend Evander Holyfield. In that fight against Belfort, Holyfield should have never passed to compete by the athletic commission at the time, and it was tough to watch as Belfort made quick work of the boxing legend.
We don’t know much about either fighter’s boxing skills as of now.

Rahman Jr. vs. Belfort Analysis
Rahman vs. Belfort best bets are tough to come by as of right now because there are no odds listed anywhere for this bout. We will guess that it is a pretty close fight in terms of odds, with Rahman being the favorite because of his size and boxing-specific experience.
On paper, with the amount of amateur boxing and pro-level experience, Rahman should easily win against Belfort. Belfort looks to be back in the same shape he was in circa 2010, and as MMA fans are well aware, that version of Vitor Belfort will be able to hold his own and take some shots from Rahman while having some power in his hands.
The good thing Belfort has going for himself is power is the last to leave a fighter as they age. He will be dangerous enough to be able to hurt Rahman with a cleanly landed left hand coming from his southpaw stance.
Rahman hasn’t shown much on film in his career, fighting against lower-level opponents until his last fight against Morrison showed his nonchalant style, leading to him being knocked down and hurt badly multiple times in that fight. He looks like he is in better shape right now compared to in April, so expect him to make improvements in his in-ring performance.
Odds Breakdown
Boxing odds are nowhere to be found on this matchup or even for any of the fights that are supposed to be on this event. It is a small event with semi-large names attached to it. Rahman Jr. probably wants to prove himself and earn a fight with Jake Paul again for a big payday or another influencer-type boxer.
I’m guessing Rahman will be around a -350 favorite if the sportsbooks open up lines for this bout. He should easily be a sizeable favorite with his experience alone, but then when you add on his size advantage and being about 15+ years younger than Belfort with way fewer wars under his belt, it should be a good night for Rahman.
Belfort is more experienced in a big fight at the end of an event headlining numerous MMA pay-per-view cards in his career, so maybe the pressure might get to Rahman, and Belfort is better suited for this kind of fight mentally.
It is hard to make Rahman vs. Belfort best bets with no odds.
Rahman Jr. vs. Belfort Betting Pick and Prediction
When talking about Rahman vs. Belfort best bets, you have to realize the huge advantage that Rahman has over Belfort. The value in a Rahman bet probably won’t be there, but if there is a prop bet with Rahman knocking out Belfort, take it.
Rahman is going up against someone that hasn’t even been in the same sport as him and with only a fraction of time being around the sport. Rahman has lived in this world with his dad ever since he was born, and it should be an easy night for him if he is as truly skilled as he claims to be.
Betting on boxing is getting harder and harder with these kinds of fights being made with no real substance to them to invest your money in. Boxing picks for a fight like this, however, are easy to make because Rahman is the clear favorite on paper.
With Belfort having virtually no boxing stats available because he hasn’t even been in this sport for more than a year, you need to go with any bet that you can get a solid ROI on in Rahman’s favor. He should be able to beat the retired MMA fighter in his mid-40s handily.
