He is what the boxing industry would label as a “journeyman” who fights almost solely in Mexico and has never beaten a fighter with more than 13 wins on their record; in fact, he only has two wins against fighters with winning records.
Perez doesn’t have any height or reach measurements listed anywhere, proving that he isn’t a legit contender unless he puts on a great performance against Diaz this weekend. He employs orthodox fighting tactics and allegedly has never suffered a stoppage loss.
