IBF Featherweight Title Analysis
Luis Alberto puts his IBF featherweight title on the line against Angelo Leo on Saturday night in New Mexico.Lopez vs Leo boxing odds have the former at -450 to win, and we expect the champion to get the job done.
He is the classier fighter, and although Leo has only one loss on his record, the Mexican looks to have his measure.
Getting -450 for Lopez is a fair price with boxing picks today.
Lopez vs Leo Betting Analysis
Most of the money has come for Lopez, who is the current champion, and he’s expected to win, We can see his current -450 line with boxing odds firming to around -550 on fight night, as we don’t see much money coming for Leo.
Leo could move to around +350, which is a fair price for the underdog.
Lopez vs Leo Betting Preview & Updates
Despite having more losses on his record, Lopez is the commanding fighter in this title fight.
The 30-year-old is the second-ranked featherweight in the world, and that’s shown with the current odds.
Leo is 24-1, but he hasn’t fought the same level of opponent.

Lopez Analysis: Beating All In His Path
We are confident of a Lopez win, and he has battled back from a loss to Reuben Villa in fine style.
He comes off a TKO win over Reiya Abe, and although he needed eight rounds to get past him, Abe isn’t a pushover, His schedule of boxing hasn’t been as busy as Leo’s, but that’s likely to work in his favor. Lopez comes in as the fresher fighter, and that’s a good place to be.
Like all Mexicans, I do my job in the ring, and I like to throw punches. I don’t mind getting hit in order to hit. We work to be able to do all of that in the ring, Lopez said.
Having beaten Josh Warrington, Michael Conlan, and Joet Gonzalez bodes well, and he won’t find Leo a step up in class.
Getting -450 for a fighter of his quality is good shopping, and he should prove tough to beat.

Leo Analysis: Second Chance at Title
Leo is the former WBO bantamweight champion when the title was vacant, and he gets another opportunity to win a belt.
The 30-year-old American lost his belt to Stephen Fulton in 2021, but he rebounded with wins over Aaron Alameda and most recently Eduardo Baez. His unanimous decision victory over Baez didn’t come by knockout, but it was a solid decision victory. He’s ranked eighth in the division, so he has some ground to make up on the likes of Lopez. However, the +325 odds are accurate.
We priced him around +350 with Lopez vs Leo boxing odds, but fighting in his hometown could see him improve.
He gets the advantage of fighting in Albuquerque, and there will be a large fanbase in the arena. It could be enough to see this fight go deep into round 11 or 12.
Lopez vs Leo Betting Prediction
We are backing Lopez to win at -450, and he’s worth including in boxing parlays for this weekend’s action. Some bettors might not see value in the current odds, but there is better value with under 10.5 rounds, which pays +235.
The sportsbook expects the fight to go the distance, but we think Lopez is good enough to end the fight before the final bell.
The odds are good enough to snap up, and that’s where the best value resides.
