Starting with the betting lines, Bohachuk is defending his interim belt as the +245 underdog against the -320 Ortiz. This bout is favored to NOT go to a decision at -166, along with an over/under of just 9.5 rounds.
From a technical standpoint, both of these guys are violent and explosive. They might not be world-class at the “sweet science,” but they are there to take their opponents out. Bohachuk packs power in both hands and plans to steadily accumulate clean shots to eventually break down his opponents.
Ortiz Jr. has power in both hands, but it’s legit power that can end people’s nights quickly. He is an elite body puncher as well. Virgi gets angry when hit cleanly, which is a downside. He will see red and let his hands go hard, which leaves him wide open for counters.
Bohachuk will try to use constant pressure and be in the face of Ortiz Jr. for all 12 rounds. Who will be the one standing in the end?

It’s going to be a hard fight for the young man, but at this point, you can’t make Ortiz Jr. boxing fight picks without taking him to win by KO.
