It’s always good to bet on former champions on the PGA Tour, and Tony Finau is the man to back. He is the clear +1000 favorite to win, and the next best with PGA golf bets is Sam Burns at +2000, so most of the money has come for Finau.

The 34-year-old is a six-time PGA Tour winner, including the 2023 Mexico Open and 2022 3M Open. He won that event by two strokes, and although there is slightly more depth to this field, the biggest stars aren’t there.

Finau should always be a favorite when the best players in the world are resting or preparing for the Olympics. He knows how to win tournaments, and that’s reflected in our 3M Open betting tips.

Our next-best pick is Sahith Theegala, and we’re excited by the +2200 odds available at the sportsbook. He is one of the more promising golfers on the PGA Tour, and his professionalism is always on display. The American is only a one-time winner as a solo player, with that win coming at the 2023 Fortinet Championship – he also won the QBE Shootout with Tom Hoge – but he has massive upside.

He was one of many good players to miss the cut at The Open Championship, so we don’t hold that against him. Conditions at TPC Twin Cities are much different from what he faced last week.
