With UFC Fight Night pick: Font vs. Vera getting underway on Saturday evening, there is a great co-main event coming out of the heavyweight division as Andrei Arlovski and Jake Collier will square off inside of the cage. Arlovski is currently 33-20-0, 2 No Contests, while Collier is 13-6-0 in his career. This should be a very entertaining fight to give us a chance that can show which one of these fighters are a real contender in the heavyweight division.
Last Games Records
Arlovski is coming off a decision victory back in February against Jared Vanderaa in UFC 271 and was able to pick up a big victory to put him in position to be in this co-main event. Collier had a dominant submission victory in the first round over Chase Sherman back on February 15. This will be the first time that these fighters face off against one another.

Arlovski vs Collier Betting Analysis
Andrei Arlovski Betting Analysis
Andrei Arlovski joined the UFC back in 2014 and has done a respectable 11-10 with a no-contest throughout his career. He has been doing incredibly well as of late as he has won each of his last three fights and five of the previous six fights (all ended by decision). It’s been over six years since he was able to record a knockout as he knocked out Travis Brown via TKO back on UFC 191. Sitting in the co-main event here should not rattle Arlovski, and he should be able to do extremely well inside of the octagon.
Jake Collier Betting Analysis
Jake Collier has struggled to find some consistency inside of the UFC as he has a mediocre 5-5 record since joining the company. He has climbed the weight class as he entered as a light heavyweight and has four fights in the heavyweight division thus far, going 2-2 with victories over Chase Sherman and Gian Villante in the UFC as of this writing.
His strikes do not possess that same power that people are accustomed to seeing from the heavyweight weight class, as in 13 professional wins, only five fights ended via knockouts. Only one of his five UFC victories has ended by submission, so he needs to develop a more consistent fighting style to contend with some of the best fighters the company has.
Updates
Both fighters have not publicly announced any injuries heading into this fight, so they will be entering here at 100 percent with a full fight camp here. Both fighters are coming off a win in their last fight so it will be a great sign to see which fight can win here.
Arlovski vs Collier Betting Preview
Looking at the UFC betting odds provided by the main Sportsbook, this fight is going to be close as Arlovski is favored at -140 while Collier is currently listed as a +120 underdog. These fighters match up decently well against each other, so make sure to figure out how you want to bet this fight.
Arlovski vs Collier Betting Prediction
This fight is expected to be a close fight according to the betting odds, but I do not see it at that way. Fighting in the light heavyweight and the heavyweight division is definitely two different levels, and Arlovski has been dominating in the heavyweight weight class with 22 career wins. Collier does not have the experience of fighting on the bigger stages, so the fear of fighting in the co-main event could be in the back of his mind.
I fully expect this fight to go the complete distance and Andrei Arlovski to dominate as he typically does inside of the octagon. Arlovski has the ability to outlast his opponents and apply extreme pressure, whereas Collier is going to be struggling and pressing to try to get things done.
