Heavyweights & Women’s Flyweights Main Card
Taila Santos (-265) vs Jena Bishop (+225)
Both women are 1-0 in the 2024 regular season going into this one, so this fight has major playoff implications. If either of these women can score a finish on Thursday night, it basically clinches a spot in the playoffs this fall.
Santos is a new signee with the PFL after a very successful UFC career, despite falling short in a title shot where she gave future UFC Hall of Fame champion, Valentina Shevchenko, everything she could handle.
Bishop is an undefeated MMA fighter with a 7-0 record, but she is 38 years old. She had a great career as a BJJ competitor, winning a world championship before signing with Bellator and now the PFL after the merger.
Denis Goltsov (-360) vs Thiago Santos (+285)
Goltsov is coming off a 2023 campaign where he went 3-1 with a loss in the PFL heavyweight final for $1 million. He is going into this year with momentum and is already 1-0 on the year.
Santos is a very popular piece of business in the PFL and probably gets paid well to fight, but it wouldn’t be a bad thing to see him hang up the gloves after this one. He hasn’t looked like himself in half a decade and might not have any legs left to stand on in the cage. Multiple knee injuries make him not even a fraction as dangerous as he used to be.

Liz Carmouche (-300) vs Kana Watanabe (+240)
Carmouche is a women’s MMA pioneer and was the Bellator women’s flyweight champion for years, successfully defending the belt three times. She is currently on an 8-fight winning streak, while looks to cash in on a big payday in the PFL after starting the season 1-0.
Watanabe is a very talented Japanese mixed martial artist with a 1-0 record in the PFL as well. She is tied with Carmouche on points right now but is currently out of the playoff picture. This fight is a massive one for Watanabe.
Marcelo Golm (+160) vs Tyrell Fortune (-200)
Golm is a former UFC prospect and Bellator contender in the heavyweight division, looking to bounce back from a 0-1 start this year with a KO victory to catch up on points. The heavyweight division can be a toss-up until playoff time because a KO is worth multiple points in the standings.
Fortune is a career-long Bellator fighter who now gets a shot at competing for the big prize in PFL. When we look at PFL betting odds and picks, we know that he’s an explosive athlete who is making his debut in the PFL this weekend with a chance to put the heavyweight division on notice.

Dakota Ditcheva (-1300) vs Chelsea Hackett (+900)
Ditcheva is arguably the most impressive women’s prospect to come out of the PFL yet, proving the success of the new PFL Europe campaign launched last year. She is coming off a PFL Europe championship run in 2023 and will test her skills on the main stage. She is the biggest betting favorite on the card, according to the MMA odds.
Hackett is an impressive young prospect as well, but she has run into some talented women to start her MMA career. She is 0-1 this regular season and a win here would significantly impact the trajectory of her career. Stealing the momentum and hype of Ditcheva would be massive in an upset win.
Valentin Moldavsky (-305) vs Linton Vassell (+245)
Moldavsky is a former Bellator interim heavyweight champion who started his PFL career this year and is 1-0 in the regular season after an impressive KO win over Ante Delija in April. Moreover, he is a Sambo world champion with tons of skills.
Vassell is an impressive athlete, even at 41 years old. He won two titles in the regional scene in the UK and challenged the great Ryan Bader for a Bellator light heavyweight title in 2017. At the end of his career, he is still dangerous and can put anyone in the division away on his night.
