Nemkov vs Anderson Betting Analysis
Vadim Nemkov Betting Analysis
Nemkov is an absolute animal and has been on a tear since his rise to becoming the champion. The last time he has suffered defeat was back in 2016, so he has done well in that regard.
Since his last loss, he has recorded nine straight victories, which have been against some of the best fighters in the division. These include Phil Davis, Ryan Bader, and Philipe Lins.
Out of those nine victories, seven of them have been stoppages. So far, he has a total of 12 stoppages when combining knockouts and submissions.
Nemkov has successfully defended his belt twice so far against quality competition. He will need to show everything he has for this third one, as this is a tough matchup.
Corey Anderson Betting Analysis
Anderson is currently on a three-fight win streak since November of 2020. Before that, he suffered a defeat to Jan Blachowicz in the UFC, who was previously the light heavyweight champion for that promotion.
He has bounced back gracefully since that defeat and was able to defeat the former light heavyweight champion for Bellator in Ryan Bader. That fight against Bader was a 51-second first-round knockout.
“Overtime” has recorded eight knockouts and eight decisions, so this fight could go either way. His last three victories have all been knockouts, so he has been gunning for the early finish lately.
Anderson has quickly turned things around from his first-round knockout loss back in the UFC. He poses a serious threat to Nemkov.
Updates
- Nemkov has stated that he is not threatened by Anderson, no respect towards him
- Anderson knows Nemkov is a well-rounded fighter but aims for a title
- Betting trends show that Nemkov is a slight favorite
Nemkov vs Anderson Betting Preview
Both fighters have gained a lot of respect in the light heavyweight division. Nemkov, on paper, has been more dominant during his last ten fights.
Anderson is greatly undervalued here, which is interesting that the market would allow that to happen. These odds should definitely be closer to a toss-up, but everyone is betting that the champion will prevail.
Nemkov vs Anderson Betting Prediction
A safe bet, but somewhat opposite of the potential outcome, would be to take Nemkov and go on about your day. However, Anderson is on the verge of something big, which would be taking the belt away from Nemkov.
“Overtime” has a great opportunity, especially if he has to drag the fight out. Nemkov has only encountered three fights that went the distance, and two of them were wins.
If Anderson can withstand anything that Nemkov throws at him, he should be able to succeed in the later rounds. Being a title fight, this is his opportunity to push Nemkov further than he has ever been and expose a potential weakness in cardio.
How to Bet on Nemkov vs Anderson
The average UFC betting odds for Bellator 277 co-main title fight are as follows:
Nemkov: -160
Anderson: +140
When making your UFC picks, taking Nemkov here is a good choice, but only if he is able to take command early. Anderson has shown that he can handle some of the best fighters and has tweaked his fight game for this moment. Take Anderson by decision.
