After a one-week break, the Formula 1 schedule picks back up with the Hungarian Grand Prix. It will be followed by the Belgian Grand Prix next week and then the customary summer break. No team has been hotter than Mercedes, which has won the last two weeks. Mercedes Team Principal Toto Wolff said the team will have additional upgrades ahead of this weekend.

The team’s recent resurgence hasn’t gone unnoticed by bettors, as both Lewis Hamilton and George Russell are +800. That’s less than half of what they were just a few weeks ago when both were routinely +2000. You can’t discount either of the two Mercedes drivers when compiling your Hungarian Grand Prix betting tips.

Max Verstappen is the obvious favorite and the Formula 1 odds checker shows him at -140. Those odds are longer than you typically see. He’ll be a force in the race, as will second-betting choice Lando Norris. McLaren has been Norris’ worst enemy the past weeks ago, although he hasn’t helped matters.
