Pick Analysis
Christopher Bell is the favorite for the first-ever Iowa Corn 350 NASCAR race on Sunday. Bell has enjoyed plenty of success at Iowa Speedway in the past. He won back-to-back Xfinity Series races at Iowa Speedway in 2018 and 2019. With two wins this season, Bell can’t be discounted, but does he deserve to be such a large favorite? The NASCAR betting odds have him at +375. Those who place a wager on Bell may very well have a bet on the Iowa Corn 350 winner, although there’s no betting value.
Kyle Larson may not win the race, but at +700, there’s decent betting value there. Larson is a tough customer wherever he races. The NASCAR driver statistics show Larson is first overall with 561 points and three victories despite missing the Coca-Cola 600. Larson has more stage wins than any other driver and has led the most laps of any driver.
From a value standpoint, betting Larson at +700 is worth wagering.

Iowa Corn 350 Betting Analysis
The Iowa Corn 350 is a new race on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule so there are plenty of unknowns. Many drivers will race on the track for the first time. The track was resurfaced earlier this year, so even drivers like Bell will find it handles differently than when he last raced. The repaving has kept the drivers talking.
“Until you get there you don’t really know,” said Joey Logano in a Ford Performance press release. “It’s probably the most interesting repave-ish thing that we’ve seen. Like I said, I can’t really form an opinion until I make laps on it, but it’s definitely unique. Good or bad, I guess we’ll have to wait and see.”
There is a bit of logic in trying for one of the long shots, but when there is uncertainty coming into a race, taking a known entity like Larson makes the most sense. You know his car will be prepared correctly and you know you have one of the best drivers in NASCAR in your corner. Larson should be at the top of your NASCAR race today’s predictions. You know you’ll get an honest effort from Larson and Hendricks Motorsports.
If you want to bet on the Iowa Corn 350 winner, you won’t do much better than taking a stab at Larson at generous odds.
