Pick Analysis
The NASCAR Brickyard 400 returns for the first time since 2020 to the NASCAR schedule and Denny Hamlin is a solid favorite. The race isn’t a runaway, however, as there are 12 drivers at +1600 and lower. That’s a sign the oddsmakers aren’t quite sure what to expect and you can’t blame them.
The last three years have seen Verizon 200 at the Brickyard over the combined road course, but it’s a return to normal this year. The NASCAR Brickyard 400 betting guide views this race as similar to Pocono. Drivers who ran well there should run well at Indianapolis.
There is one notable exception to that premise. It’s Ty Gibbs. He was on the pole and led at Pocono for 21 laps before a speeding penalty and ultimately having engine failure.
The entire Joe Gibbs organization has had its share of problems in the last few months. The team is too good for that sort of thing to continue much longer.
What started as a good weekend became a huge disappointment for Ty Gibbs. He won’t have to wait long to return to the track. As evidenced by his pole at Pocono, Gibbs can handle these types of tracks. He’s due for a decent effort. As one of your NASCAR picks for this weekend, take Gibbs to finish in the top five at +240.

NASCAR Brickyard 400 Betting Analysis
The NASCAR Brickyard 400 betting guide shows the race is returning to its 2.5-mile oval course with four turns. That’s good news for some drivers and not-so-good for others. It’s completely different than the last three years.
Hamlin ran a good race at Pocono and has a good chance to follow that up with another good effort. The odds on Hamlin aren’t the best and a bit low to consider him for a NASCAR best bet. With the odds being fairly close on the top dozen drivers, it makes a little sense to look for a fair price.
With Gibbs, you’re not asking him to win the race or even finish in the top three. A top-five finish is all that’s needed. He has five top-5 finishes in this season’s NASCAR races and this is a track he should take to pretty well. The team has had its share of bright moments at Indianapolis and Gibbs should be able to add to that here.
Gibbs is due to catch a break and he’s driven better than his No. 11 spot in the standings. His 349 laps led are nearly double the NASCAR Cup Series points leader Chase Elliott. Gibbs should be consistent and race cleanly to have a solid shot at another top-five finish.

Hendrick Motorsports has 10 victories in the race and Joe Gibbs Racing has won it five times.
NASCAR Brickyard 400 Betting Picks
Bet Ty Gibbs to finish in the top five at odds of +240. Gibbs had some bad luck last week but showed a little of what he can do. The NASCAR Brickyard 400 betting guide notes Gibbs didn’t run that bad here as a rookie last year, finishing 12th. With a bit more experience under his belt, this could be a big race for the young driver.
