NASCAR has done a tremendous job of creating a year-long points system, and that keeps all of the drivers in the mix the entire time. There should be some incredible drama on the race track this weekend, and everyone will be pushing hard for a win.
Here is a look at the NASCAR betting odds for the Goodyear 400.
No Big Favorite
There are going to be some weekends in which the NASCAR betting odds are going to have a pretty clear favorite. That’s not the case this weekend, but it’s Kyle Larson that is the favorite to win this race at +400.
Larson has not won this race in the past, but he is a name that is consistently at the top of the NASCAR standings, and other drivers are trying to track him down. Denny Hamlin, with his NASCAR odds set at +500, should be in the mix this weekend for a big win.
Looking at past winners can help you make NASCAR race predictions and Martin Truex Jr. is a recent winner of the Goodyear 400. It’s no surprise to see him with odds set at +650 to come away with another win this weekend.
Those are the three drivers that stand out the most ahead of the action this weekend, but that doesn’t mean that others can’t join the party. Even though Larson, Hamlin, and Truex Jr. have the best NASCAR odds to win, there is still some value in betting on each of them as well.

Some Serious Contenders
We have reached the point on the NASCAR schedule in which all of the drivers are trying to earn as many points as possible. It’s imperative that everyone stays in the points race, and that is why the NASCAR betting odds are going to be so tight.
Getting as much value as possible should always factor in when making NASCAR picks, and there are some great contenders that are ready to run this weekend. William Byron who won this race last year, got betting odds at +750 to win the Goodyear 400.
Tyler Reddick is another driver that is often featured when making NASCAR betting picks and he has odds set at +750 to win this weekend as well. The other driver that is currently in the group of contenders is Christopher Bell and he has odds set at +900.
That is where you really see the betting odds start to fall off for this race, but that doesn’t mean that you can ignore the rest of the drivers. There have been some big upsets already on in the NASCAR Cup Series, and that could end up happening again this weekend.
Back Byron at Darlington
All of the NASCAR races provide different challenges to the drivers, and every racecourse is built just a bit differently. The top drivers are going to get up to around 120 mph this weekend on the race track, and that will create some tough driving conditions as well.
Kyle Larson is coming into this weekend with some momentum, and it’s not a surprise to see him listed as the betting favorite to win. This is not a racetrack in which he has had much success though, and therefore you are going to want to look elsewhere.
William Byron clearly knows his way around Darlington as he just came up with a big win here a year ago. The odds for Byron are favorable at +750 as well, and that is where you should be looking to go when making your NASCAR picks.
