NASCAR Truck Series Championship Betting Preview
Ben Rhodes
After Front Row Motorsports’ Zane Smith’s Championship hopes ended after being disqualified after finishing second at Homestead-Miami, ThorSport’s Ben Rhodes was the chief benefactor, moving into second place and solidifying his spot in the Championship Four.
Despite having two consecutive second-place finishes and three consecutive top-ten finishes, Rhodes had four straight finishes outside the top-ten prior. If Rhodes continues his run of form, he could provide a shocking upset by winning the 2023 Truck Series Championship despite an average season.
Grant Enfinger
GMS Racing’s Grant Enfinger was the biggest benefactor of Smith’s disqualification, moving into fourth place at Phoenix and unexpectedly into the Championship Four. Enfinger has one dominant win at the Milwaukee Mile and three top-five finishes in the playoffs, alternating excellent results with three finishes outside the top ten.
Enfinger has won the Regular Season Championship before in 2019 and wasn’t able to convert that into a Truck Series Championship win. However, Enfinger could grab his 101st career win and the 2023 Truck Series Championship.

Corey Heim
Much like the rest of our Truck Series previews in 2023, Tricon Garage’s Corey Heim is front and center in our CRAFTSMAN 150 betting analysis and is our favorite to win the 2023 Truck Series Championship. Heim has been in a two-car race for the best season, having three wins, 12 top-five, and 19 top-ten finishes.
Heim inherited third place at Homestead-Miami after Smith’s disqualification, but won both stages and led the most laps. While his last finish outside the top ten was a 15th-place finish on Bristol’s dirt track and not racing at Gateway, Heim’s run to the Championship Four has been impressive, scoring five consecutive top-five finishes in the playoffs.
Carson Hocevar
Oddsmakers have Niece Motorsports’ Carson Hocevar as Heim’s most likely challenger to beat him to the 2023 Truck Series Championship. Hocevar scored his series-leading fourth win in 2023 at Homestead, bouncing back from an 11th-place finish at Talladega.
Hocevar has four top-five and five top-ten finishes in six playoff races and will give Heim the best fight for the championship at Phoenix.
