Max Verstappen exploited the RB-19’s race pace advantage to win the grueling Qatar Grand Prix, but McLaren’s Oscar Piastri shocked the grid and fans alike, earning his first of likely many career wins, holding Verstappen off to win the Qatar Sprint Race.
Both Qatar’s races ended with a Verstappen and two McLarens on the podium, a trend expected to continue for a third consecutive race.

Another Verstappen Clean Sweep?
Looking at the formula 1 standings, Max Verstappen has only won two of the four Sprint races this season, with the Safety car playing a role in Qatar’s outcome. The only Red Bull-based question is if Verstappen will collect all the points or if someone can beat him to a Sprint Race pole position and win.
Verstappen will win the Grand Prix, but the RB-19 is vulnerable over one lap opening the door.

Another Mega Sprint Weekend for McLaren
McLaren has back-to-back double podium finishes, with Piastri’s Qatar Sprint pole and win as evidence that McLaren’s duo is the second-fastest car on the grid. Norris and Piastri will finish in the top six in both races but will fight Verstappen for both pole positions and the Sprint win.
While we’re big on Piastri, Norris has five top-three finishes in the last eight races and has been poised to break through for his first career win for years, never having the machinery to do it.
