NASCARNASCAR Xfinity Series

Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 Betting Picks and Predictions

The NASCAR Xfinity Series continues this week with the Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 at the Texas Motor Speedway.

It’s the 27th event on the 2022 NASCAR schedule and is the first race in the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs for 2022.

The event will be held on Saturday, September 23, at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth. The track is a 1.5-mile-long oval, with drivers completing 200 laps.

Noah Gragson got his third win in a row last week at Bristol. He successfully held off a late charge by Brandon Jones in the final 20 laps under the green flag at the Food City 300.

The win is his sixth in the 2022 season and the 11th time he has taken the checkered flag in his career. A.J. Allmendinger finished sixth to clinch his second straight Regular Season Championship.

Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 Betting Picks and Analysis

Noah Gragson

Gragson is currently on a roll and enters the first round of the playoffs as one of the favorites to win the Andy’s Frozen Custard 300. He now has a 13-point lead in the standings over Ty Gibbs.

Gragson has six wins with 15 top-five and 19 top-ten finishes in 26 starts in 2022. This is his last season driving the No. 9 Chevy, as Brandon Jones takes over when Gragson moves to the Cup Series next season.

Gragson now holds the record for most season wins by a JR Motorsports driver and looks for his fourth straight win this weekend at the Andy’s Frozen Custard 300.

A.J. Allmendinger

Allmendinger won the Regular Season Championship with his sixth-place finish at Bristol last week, earning a 15-point playoff bonus to add to his postseason total. All of his three wins this season have been on road courses.

Allmendinger has not given up the points lead since taking over after the Richmond Raceway event in April.

The veteran has won 12 times in the Xfinity Series and finished sixth for the second straight event. He’s currently fourth in the playoffs, 19 points behind Gragson, and again one of the favorites to win this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.

Ty Gibbs

Ty Gibbs took the pole position at last week’s Food City 300 after winning from the top starting position at Richmond in April.

However, he’ll undoubtedly be looking for revenge this weekend in Texas after crashing in lap 129 while battling with Sheldon Creed for the lead last week at Bristol.

Contact from Noah Gragson’s Chevy sent Gibbs into Creed’s Camaro, which sent them both hard into the outside wall and eliminated both drivers from the race.

He is currently second in the standings, trailing Gragson by 13 points, and is one of the top Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 betting picks.

Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 Betting Picks and Prediction

With the 12 drivers set for the playoffs, there couldn’t be a better lineup with Gibbs, Gragson and Almendinger at the top of the field. It’s hard not to favor Noah Gragson as the top Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 betting pick.

A win in this event would be the first for JR Motorsports in this event since it started in 2005. After getting his third straight win last week at Bristol, he’s on a roll at the perfect time.

Most Profitable Driver for this Race

Although his win at Kansas Speedway two weeks ago was shortened by rain, last week’s win at the Food City 300 left no doubt about who the best driver has been in the last several weeks.

NASCAR odds show that Gragson will be one of the top favorites and should be the Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 betting pick in this first playoff event.
