Two weeks ago, Ryan Preece won his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Nashville Superspeedway. Check the O’Reilly Auto Parts 150 Betting Analysis Below.
With only two races left in the regular season, the win made it possible for five drivers who had not won to get into the playoffs.
First Time at Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course
This week, the trucks will compete on a road course for the first time this season at the Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course.
The 2022 Nascar Schedule rolls on as NASCAR Truck Series gets back to work after a week off. The Truck Series race this week might be less predictable than usual.
Mid-Ohio will be the site of the first Truck Series race. The Truck Series will race on the 2.4-mile road course for the third time this season.
Matt Crafton Performance
Matt Crafton now has 29 more points than Derek Kraus, who is in eleventh place. This puts him in the tenth and last spot in the playoffs.
Only Ty Majeski and Christian Eckes can depend only on their point totals to make the playoffs this week. The rest of the hopefuls need help.
Zane Smith Performance
Zane Smith is in first place in the standings because he has won three races. He could win the regular-season title if other drivers help him this weekend. Smith has the best average finish on the road, so he might be a good choice for your fantasy lineup.
There are only two races left to choose the 10 drivers who will compete for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship in 2022, and the pressure to win the crown keeps going up.
Some of the winners of Cup Series road-course races have been a surprise. When it comes out, will it be a part of the Trucks Series? Here are some Nascar odds and O’Reilly Auto Parts 150 odds available.
O’Reilly Auto Parts 150 Betting Picks
Tyler Ankrum Analysis
We’ve been talking about 2022 drivers who have good prospects. Tyler Ankrum is to blame in the end. Ankrum has more top-ten finishes this year, but he hasn’t been in the running for a win yet.
Ankrum hasn’t led a lap since the first race of the season at Daytona. Three times in a row, Ankrum has been in the top ten.
Ankrum Not In the Playoffs
He is still not in the running for the playoffs, but he is getting better. If Ankrum wins, they’ll be able to participate in the playoffs. He is the best surprise pick I made for O’Reilly Auto Parts.
Ankrum came in tenth at COTA earlier this year. In both road races in 2022, only a few drivers will finish in the top ten.
Even though we haven’t seen race-winning speed yet, there is always a strategy in road course racing. Ankrum needs to be aggressive if he wants to make the playoffs.
How they dealt with this event can teach us a lot. Even though my NASCAR predictions call for a fast race, we’ll be happy with a win based on pit strategy.
Zane Smith Analysis
Zane Smith’s third full-time season in the Truck Series has been his best. After 14 races, he is in first place in the standings. He has won three races and placed in the top five eight times.
In the last three Mid-Ohio races, Smith has always been in the top three. From a 2022 point of view, Smith is on a losing streak. In six of the last seven races, he didn’t win.
Even though I’m being pretentious, Smith has a great campaign. My NASCAR bets say he will try very hard to win at Mid-Ohio. Kyle Busch has been the best Truck Series driver on road courses, but he won’t race in this race.
In the last laps of the COTA race
- Stewart Friesen
- Alex Bowman
- Kurt Busch
Crashed into each other. This gave Smith the lead. Smith won the XPEL 225 in 2022, his first race on a road course.
Sonoma Late Cautions
At Sonoma, late cautions put him in the lead, but he wasn’t as strong as he had been in earlier races. So, his average finish in a road race in 2022 is 1.5.
All of the 150 products I chose from O’Reilly Auto Parts because they load faster. He’ll win another one, too.
Chandler Smith +1200
This season, Chandler Smith has been one of the best players. Considering how well he ended the 2021 season, this might have been expected. He is only able to win once in 2022, which is surprising.
Smith has been in the top 10 in the last five races, but at the Mid-Ohio, he was ranked 13th and 15th. Will Smith be able to make Mid-Ohio better?
Smith’s job is made easier by having Kyle Busch on his team. Considering how well he did at both races, it’s possible that Bush taught him how to race on the road.
Look out for Smith
Only Kyle Busch and Zane Smith finished ahead of him in the top five in both road races. Even though he’s not a favorite to win the O’Reilly Auto Parts 150, he’s one of my favorites. He has shown top speed in road races and can win on any track.
I’ll be on the lookout for Smith at the Mid-Ohio Truck Series race. The ice around his heart will melt quickly. At the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Classic, will it happen?
O’Reilly Auto Parts 150 at Mid-Ohio Betting Trends
The first race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will take place at Mid-Ohio, as will the first race in most road races.
On the 2.26-mile track, there are 13 turns, and only certain vehicles can go through them. There are many chances for action on the long run into and out of the hairpin at turn 2.
There is a good chance that drivers can brake better than their competitors if they can stay far enough away from the truck in front of them on the tight turn 1.
Four Leads
Before turning 4, there is a lot of braking. Turn four leads to the infield, another great place to pass. Teams may choose to pit a little bit out of order to try to move up when other cars come down the pit road.
This keeps their drivers out of traffic and lets them go faster. To get around the track’s off-camber turns, drivers and teams need fast cars with good grip.
It would help if you chose drivers who have been on this track’s road course a lot.
Ryan Peece Success at Nashville Superspeedway
Two weeks ago, Ryan Preece won his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Nashville Superspeedway, as many pundits didn’t expect on their respective Nascar betting.
With only two races left in the regular season, the win made it possible for five drivers who had not won to get into the playoffs.

O’Reilly Auto Parts 150 Betting Pick and Prediction
In 2022, Zane Smith was the race car driver everyone wanted to beat. He has three wins, which is the most of anyone this season.
Based on what we know about the O’Reilly Auto Parts 150, he’s among our Nascar picks as we think he will win again.
Smith has already won on a road course this year. On the track, this driver is known for being reliable. He has a good chance of winning the first Mid-Ohio Truck Series race.
Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time, tune in to FS1. Truck Series bets should be placed at the best places to bet on NASCAR.
