Chase Elliott isn’t a featured playoff performer, but he is co-favorite alongside teammate and Cup Series Championship favorite William Byron to win at the Roval.

Elliott has an average finishing position of 11.0 in his last three races at the Roval, with his win in 2020 being his only top-ten finish. However, Elliott should be competitive for a top-five finish, having finished in the top ten in four of the five playoff races and seven of the last nine races.

Byron’s second-place finish at Talladega was his third top-five and fourth top-ten finish in the playoffs, while he already has a guaranteed spot in the Round of Eight. Byron is a road course specialist whose best finish at Charlotte’s Roval was sixth place in 2019 and 2020.

Kyle Larson could use a strong weekend and channel his 2021 form, having two consecutive sub-top-10 finishes after starting the playoffs strong.

Toyota’s Road Course Ringers Charge to the Front

Four Toyota’s are at the front of the betting favorites, each having previous road course success to rely on to win at Charlotte.

23XI Racing’s Tyler Reddick is always a favorite on road courses and has two top-ten finishes in his last three races, with second in 2021.
