Last weekend on the dirt at Bristol, a NASCAR Cup Series regular returned to the Truck Series and scored an outstanding result. Reigning Cup Series Champion Joey Logano won at Bristol, becoming the second Cup Series regular to score a win on the Truck Series this weekend.
The other Cup Series regular to win on the Truck Series is the overwhelming favorite to win at Martinsville. We’ll review recent performances and the NASCAR odds before making our Long John Silver’s 200 betting picks.

Ready, Set, Go! Long John Silver’s 200 Betting Prediction
Ty Majeski
ThorSport Racing-Ford’s Ty Majeski currently leads the Truck Series NASCAR standings. Majeski scored his third consecutive top-five finish and fifth top-ten finish, finishing second at Bristol. However, in his one appearance at Martinsville since 2020, Majeski finished 11th.
Majeski is strong pick for a top-three finish.
Zane Smith
Reigning NASCAR Truck Series Champion Front Row Motorsports-Ford’s Zane Smith claimed pole position on the dirt but finished 21st at Bristol, his worst finishing position of the season. Smith has one race win, two top-fives, and three top-ten finishes in the previous three Truck Series races at Martinsville.
With two wins and three top-three finishes this season, Smith could add to the total on Friday.
Kyle Busch
Betting favorite every time he gets in a ride to race, Kyle Busch has been impressive in his two Truck Series appearances this season, winning at Las Vegas and finishing second at Circuit of the Americas. Busch has been impressive at Martinsville since February 2020 on the Truck Series, winning once and having an average finishing position of 3.0.
Joey Logano
Much like Joey Logano, when a Cup Series regular with a resume like Busch’s joins the Truck or Xfinity Series, they become a betting favorite to win, and Friday night in Martinsville is no exception.
Ross Chastain
Joining Busch from the Cup Series is Niece Motorsports-Chevrolet’s Ross Chastain. Chastain is making his third Truck Series start of the season at Martinsville, with his best finishing position being fifth.
Ben Rhodes
However, it could be ThorSport-Ford’s Ben Rhodes who could surprise everyone and land on Victory Lane. Rhodes has two top-five finishes and a 4.7 average finishing position in the previous three races at Martinsville.
Who Will Win the Long John Silver’s 200?
- Our Long John Silver’s 200 betting preview pick to win at Martinsville is Kyle Busch.
