The UNOH200 is a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event that takes place in August at Bristol Motor Speedway, Bristol.
UNOH’s 200 Brief History
The Bass Pro Shops NRA night race was the usual time it was held. In 2018, however, the race was held on Thursday night and broadcast primetime on Fox.
The race was 150 laps when it was first held in 95. The race was extended to 200 laps in the next year and has been maintained at this distance ever since.
Between 2000 and 2002, there were no truck races at BMS, but it had been the first race in the playoffs in 2019. In 2020, it became the last race in Round 8.
Three Remaining Entries
This race marks the 20th NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race. Only three remaining entries will be part of the season after it finishes on September 15.
The season will come to an abrupt halt with the Lucas Oil 150 at Phoenix Raceway in Arizona.
UNOH 200 Drivers to Bet On
Zane Smith
Zane Smith is racing in selected NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Cup Series races, as well as returning to the Front Row Motorsports Ford F-150.
He will also make his Daytona 500 debut in 2023 with the team. In addition, he will join an existing team in the Xfinity Series as he doesn’t have its own Xfinity program.
Smith’s First Season
Smith’s first season at Front Row saw him win three victories, ten top-fives and 15 top-10 finishes. The Huntington Beach, CA, native won the Regular Season championship, and he is one of the top choices in the UNOH 200 Betting Picks and Predictions.
Smith is the only person who finished outside of the top 10 this year, with the exception of a disqualification for a post-race penalty.

Smith advanced to Round of 8 by winning the crucial race at Bristol Motor Speedway. He was in a second must-win race at Martinsville Speedway in Round 8. His playoff run ended when he placed fourth.
He won the pole and swept the three stages of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series final at Phoenix Raceway as a consolation prize.
John H. Nemechek
Rounding out the UNOH 200 Betting Picks and Predictions top three, John Hunter Nemechek chased Carson Hocevar in the Kansas Lottery 200’s final laps at Kansas Speedway this past weekend.
He passed him as he was being passed and ended Hocevar’s last chance of making it to the NASCAR Truck Series playoffs.
Hocevar ran out of fuel and finished in second, but he needed the win for advancement. Christian Eckes was able to get into the final playoff spot, thanks to Nemechek’s pass.
Three-time Series Champ
Matt Crafton, a three-time series champ, was also eliminated. Nemechek was sixth in the spring race. He set the pace during practice and earned the pole.
After cruising through the first 30-lap stage, Nemechek earned enough points to secure his place in the next round. He then beat Ty Majeski to win Stage 2 under caution.
UNOH 200 Betting Trends
- Kyle Busch has the most wins, with five. They include three consecutive wins (2008-2010), followed by two more in 2013 and 2017.
- Ron Hornaday is the only other racer with multiple wins. He had two, in 1997 and 1998.
- GMS Racing and Kyle Busch Motorsports are tied in the number of team wins. They each have four, GMS taking 2016 and 2018-2020. Kyle Busch won in 2010, 2013, 2017 and 2021.
- Chevrolet has the most wins, with 10. Toyota follows with nine.
- Since consistently running 200 laps as of 2018, the fastest time was 1:16:57 in 2018.
