Brooklyn Nets Betting Analysis
The Nets just did escape with one-point win in Washington on Wednesday.
Kyrie Irving is beginning to settle into form. Kyrie posted 30 points and seven assists to pace Brooklyn in the victory. James Harden added 18/8/9 while LaMarcus Aldrige contributed 27 points and six rebounds off the bench.
The Nets received a bit of help late in the fourth quarter. A pass near the sideline next to the Nets bench intended for Kyle Kuzma was tipped by a Brooklyn coach. It seemed to be on purpose, but the referrer did not see it happen, so there was no call made.
Kuzma had some choice words about the call after the game, and it can certainly be said that the Nets caught a break. Who knows what might have happened had the referee seen the interference.
Brooklyn will look to add another victory to the win column on Friday as they continue to climb back up the Eastern Conference ladder.
San Antonio Spurs Betting Analysis
San Antonio took care of business against the Thunder on Wednesday.
Dejounte Murray posted another triple-double with a 23/10/14 final line. Murray now has eight triple-doubles for the season, which ranks third behind only Nikola Jokic and Russell Westbrook.
Jacob Poeltl scored 13 points, grabbed eight boards, dished out four assists, and swatted four shots. Doug McDermott added 20 points while Devin Vassell had 19 and eight off the bench.
The Spurs continue to flash their potential despite remaining near the bottom of the Western Conference. There is reason to be hopeful for the future.
But defeating the Nets in this matchup will be nothing short of difficult. While the Spurs could give Brooklyn some trouble in San Antonio, earning the win is unlikely.
Nets center Nicolas Claxton is listed as questionable on Friday with a hamstring injury. He has missed five games in a row but is expected to return soon.
Dejounte Murray has been terrific this season and will likely garner some all-star consideration. The young point guard has averaged 19.2 points, 8.9 assists, and 8.4 rebounds to pace San Antonio this year.
- Brooklyn is 17-26-1 ATS this season.
- San Antonio is 24-21 ATS this year.
- The Spurs are 12-10 ATS at home.
- The Nets are 12-9 ATS on the road.
- Brooklyn is 12-24-1 ATS when favored to win.
- San Antonio is 16-15 ATS as an underdog.
