The Golden State Warriors were able to take a 3-0 lead against the Denver Nuggets before Denver was able to sneak a win out in Denver in game 4 to avoid elimination. Nikola Jokic had a monster game for Denver in this one as he finished with 37 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.
With the way that the first three games of the series went, it would be likely that the Golden State Warriors are going to be able to win the series in 5 games.
It’s a great sign that the potential two-time MVP winner Nikola Jokic didn’t get swept, but the reality is that the Golden State Warriors are most likely going to return home to the Bay and walk away with an easy victory in game 5.

Nuggets at Warriors Betting Analysis
Warriors Betting Analysis
When looking at the type of work that the Golden State Warriors were able to put in during the regular season, there are a few things that we have to take into account. They ended up with the number 3 seed in the Western Conference, but that was mostly because of all the injuries that they sustained throughout the year.
They missed Stephen Curry for an extended period of time and also had to deal with a lengthy injury to Draymond Green. Fortunately for Golden State, they did get Klay Thompson back during the season, but even he did not play in most of the games that the Warriors played throughout the regular season, which just shows that them being the number three seed is impressive within itself.
The one thing to look for here is if the Warriors are going to get production from Jordan Poole. He had an incredible first three games of the series, but then didn’t play too well in game 4 as he finished the night with only 11 points.
Nuggets Betting Analysis
Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets have had a rough season, to say the least. They didn’t have either Jamal Murray or Michael Porter Jr for most of the season, which is why this team finished with the number six seed in the Western Conference. If they had both of those guys out there on the court for the entire year, not only would they have finished with a higher seed in the regular season, but there’s a chance that they could even win the series.
If the Nuggets are going to want to fight back in this series, they need to continue looking for Jokic to be the best player on the court. He didn’t necessarily play too well in the first two games of the series, but then showed why he’s one of the best players in the world in games 3 and 4.
They also need to keep getting to the line at a high level and make sure that they can knock down three-point shots as they shot 48.4% from three-point range, which most likely isn’t sustainable.

Nuggets at Warriors Betting Preview
The current NBA betting odds have the Golden State Warriors as nine-point favorites. The money line is going to be – 425 for Golden State and +325 for Denver. The over-under in this one is going to be set at 226.
Nuggets at Warriors Betting Prediction
The Denver Nuggets are going to have a tough time sustaining the type of success that they were able to find from the three-point line in game 4. Because of this, the best bet here is going to be taking the Golden State Warriors to cover the spread. Although a 9 point spread is high in the NBA Playoffs, if Golden State comes out here and does what everybody knows they can, they can easily win this one by nearly 20 points.
Denver just doesn’t have enough anymore to keep up with a team like Golden State and they got their one win of the series and that’s going to be it.
