Lakers at Warriors Betting Analysis
Los Angeles Lakers Betting Analysis
The Lakers just keep struggling despite the strong play of Anthony Davis and LeBron James.
James scored 30 points once again to go along with seven rebounds, seven assists, and three steals in the win. Meanwhile, AD posted 17 points, seven rebounds, and six assists.
But Portland was able to earn the narrow 107-105 home victory as they were led by a 29 point outing from Anfernee Simons.
But in the end, this was a game they should have won. Yes, the Lakers have endured their share of struggles, but the Trail Blazers have been far worse this season and were without their two best players. It seems as if the walls are beginning to crumble for good in LA.
They need to turn things around in a hurry before it is too late.
Los Angeles will face the daunting challenge of defeating Golden State at Chase Center on Saturday. However, the Knicks were able to take down the Warriors on the road on Thursday, so perhaps the Lakers can take a page out of their book and do the same.
Golden State Warriors Betting Analysis
Golden State somehow dropped a matchup at home against a laboring Knicks team on Thursday.
Despite 35 points and ten assists from Stephen Curry, the Warriors were unable to overcome New York in the 116-114 defeat.
Golden State posted a fairly efficient performance from an offensive standpoint. They shot 46.2 percent from the field but only 33.3 percent from deep. The Warriors also dished out 27 assists compared to only seven turnovers.
But the main difference came in the rebounding department. New York gobbled up 51 rebounds compared to just 38 for the Warriors. Additionally. The Knicks held a 16-5 advantage on the offensive glass.
The Warriors’ five offensive rebounds was not enough to get the job done, considering they went 15-45 from behind the three-point line. That is a lot of misses that fell to the Knicks.
Golden State is hopeful for a rebound against the Lakers at home on Saturday.
Team Updates
Lakers point guard Russell Westbrook missed his first game with a back injury on Thursday. His status for Saturday is uncertain, but the ailment does not appear to be all that serious.
Warriors center James Wiseman played three-on-three this past week in his first contract workout since last year. This is a promising sign for his status moving forward, and he could be in line to return sometime after the all-star break.
- Golden State is 29-23-4 ATS this season.
- Los Angeles is 24-32 ATS this year.
- The Warriors are 17-11-2 ATS at home.
- The Lakers are 12-14 ATS on the road.
- Golden State owns a league-leading 25-5 SU record at their home arena.
- Los Angeles is 9-17 SU away from home this season.
Los Angeles Lakers at Golden State Warriors Betting Preview
Golden State has dropped two consecutive matchups leading into Saturday’s action, which may cause bettors to think twice about rolling with them on Saturday. But this is still the best home-court team in the NBA, and the Lakers still have their struggles.
The Warriors are the team to beat and should be treated as such in this affair.
Los Angeles Lakers at Golden State Warriors Betting Prediction
Bet on the Golden State Warriors.
Lakers at Warriors Prediction
This game is expected to have a large spread. The Warriors should be able to cover it, given Los Angeles’ lack of defensive versatility, especially on the perimeter.
We all know that Golden State is one of the best perimeter shooting teams in the league, which could lead to an extremely high point total for the Warriors.
