The Washington Wizards (29-35) travel to Los Angeles to take on the Lakers (28-37) on Friday night.
The Wizards last played on Wednesday when they lost to the Clippers by a final score of 115-109. They will play in LA once again as they hope to leave the city with a split by defeating the Lakers.
Los Angeles Lakers hit a new low over their past two games as they were defeated by the lackluster Spurs and Rockets in back-to-back matchups. Los Angeles is still clinging onto a play-in spot in the West, but there is no question that frustration is beginning to boil over for the team.
Tip-off is scheduled for 730 P.M. PST at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA.
Let’s take a look at the NBA betting odds for this game.

Looking at the Washington Wizards Stats
Washington is fighting to stay alive in the East. They are 4-6 over their past 10 games and have battled mediocrity all season long.
But if the Wizards could climb back to .500, they would have a realistic shot at making the play-in game. Washington will need to develop consistency moving forward if they truly want to reach the postseason.
They played fairly well in their recent loss against the Clippers. Kristaps Porzingis led the charge with 19 points; however, the big man could only grab one rebound.
Kyle Kuzma added 17 points, six rebounds, and four assists in the loss.
Washington will try to upset the NBA betting odds tonight and defeat the struggling Lakers on Friday under the bright lights of Los Angeles.
Looking at the Los Angeles Lakers Stats
Losing is one thing in the NBA. There are plenty of teams laboring this season who are not receiving much attention. But losing in Los Angeles is a whole different story.
The Lakers are constantly in the news and have dealt with more criticism than any other theme in the NBA. LeBron continues to play well, but Russell Westbrook has been the poster boy for Los Angeles’s shortcomings.
Is it fair? Maybe, since the Lakers did have championship aspirations entering the season. Plenty of NBA expert picks tabbed the team as the favorites to make it to the Finals.
So it certainly has to be tough being a Laker right now, especially after their recent defeat at the hands of the West’s worst team.
Los Angeles dropped the game by a final tally of 139-130 in overtime. Up-and-coming star Jalen Green led the Rockets to victory with 32 points to his credit.
Westbrook actually performed well in the loss, as the controversial point guard scored 30 points to go along with eight rebounds and six assists. LeBron James was the one who struggled despite posting a 23 point, 14 rebound, 12 assist triple-double, as LeBron went just 9-26 from the field and 1-9 from beyond the arc while committing five turnovers.
On Friday, the Lakers will look to jump back into the win column at home against the Wizards.

Wizards at Lakers Prediction
The majority of sportsbooks list the Lakers as around a four to five-point favorite. But the idea of trusting them right now is not an idea that piques my interest.
At the same time, the Wizards do not exactly stand out by any means. But Los Angeles has been unable to take care of business at home, and the LA media is becoming a distraction. There are already trade rumors swirling around the team for the offseason, and we are only in March.
The Wizards have the motivation to win as they look to claim a postseason spot in the East as well.
