South Dakota has been one of the more efficient teams shooting the ball, but that’s about all the Coyotes have done well.
They are 303rd offensively, scoring 66.9 points per game, and 321st at making 41.3% field goal attempts.
Where they are good is ranking 42nd nationally at making 38.2% of 3-pointers and 40th with 75.6% of free throw attempts.

They rank 96th in converting 46.8% of field goal attempts and 85th in making 36.5% 3-pointers. They are 59th in making 74.5% of free throw attempts, too.

Fortunately, there is nobody listed on this game’s college basketball injury report. It also contains one of the best college basketball players in Abmas.
He is averaging 19.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game as a 6-foot guard.
Perrott-Hunt’s Performance
Opponents have made life difficult for South Dakota star Kruz Perrott-Hunt, who went for 21 points against Wisconsin.
He’s only converting 35.8% of field goal attempts and 31.6% of 3-pointers while averaging 11.3 points per game.
But he has a 3-point shot and mid-range package that would have some higher-level Division I teams calling if they need a scorer.

South Dakota Coyotes vs. Oral Roberts Golden Eagles Betting Pick and Prediction
It’s fair to say that making a South Dakota vs. Oral Roberts prediction based solely on the money line would be pretty easy. But that doesn’t influence the pocket with the numbers available as college basketball picks against the spread would.
South Dakota has a couple of solid scorers, including A.J. Plitzuweit, who is the leading scorer at 11.9 points per game and making 51.2% of 3-point shots.
The Coyotes have four players averaging ten or more points, but it has been tough sledding with their star being locked up on a near-nightly basis.
Plitzuweit and Perrott-Hunt were preseasons the second-team picks for the all-conference teams and are far below their yearly averages last season. Mason Archambeaut was also on the preseason second team.
Abmas was the preseason Player of the Year pick, with the Golden Eagles voted as the team to beat. He was joined by Issac McBride, who was on that second team with Wednesday’s counterparts. Let’s get to our South Dakota vs. Oral Roberts prediction
This game could be up and down, with neither team sporting a great defense. But that is going to require South Dakota to score, and it is something it hasn’t done a whole lot of, especially during this four-game losing streak. The Coyotes last beat Brigham Young, 69-68, on Dec. 3 but have been winless since.
Expect Abmas to do his thing and get Oral Roberts out to a big second-half lead. Something to watch is the Oral Roberts bench getting time and the game tightening.
NCAAB Pick: Oral Roberts -15.5 (-110)
NCAAB Pick: Under 153.5 (-110)
