On the other hand, the No. 3 TCU Horned Frogs (13-1) were given no respect coming into the season. They were expected to be toward the bottom of the Big-12, then continued to be disrespected by the oddsmakers and poll voters, and finally, they were counted out to make the championship. They did not listen to any of the noise, and here they are creating the college football national championship prediction

Georgia Bulldogs Performance Recap and Analysis
All eyes are on Stetson Bennett IV and the Georgia Bulldogs. The walk-on quarterback is looking to lead his team to back-to-back College Football Playoff National Championships. At 25 years old, the gunslinger has had a career that almost everyone has referred to as being like it came from a movie. His dream was to be the starting quarterback for the Bulldogs, and through a rocky journey, he is trying to become a 2-time champion.
No team has gone back-to-back in the CFP era, and you have to go back to when the Alabama Crimson Tide did it in 2011-12. Where do we start with the Bulldogs? They are the most balanced team in all of college.
It all starts with their defense, rated as the country’s second-best behind the Illinois Fighting Illini. Georgia can beat you in many different areas on offense. Brock Bowers is their leading receiver at tight end, and they have been known to control the middle of the field. Once they secure the run game and middle of the field, look out, as Bennett will take a big shot while you are asleep.
Georgia Bulldogs Key Injuries
The Georgia Bulldogs have players on the injury report. College football injuries are brutal, but they mean so much more in games like these. The two players to watch are TE Darnell Washington (knee) and WR Ladd McConkey (ankle). McConkey will likely be used in a limited fashion, while Washington is questionable. Both players are top-four on the Bulldogs in receiving yards.
Georgia Bulldogs Betting Trends to Know
It is obvious that the Georgia Bulldogs are incredible when it comes to the Moneyline, as they are undefeated on the year. The issue is, they are favored in every game, so the Georgia Bulldogs odds do not always present a lot of value. Because of that, you have to go to the spread. When you are the best team in college football, covering the spread is not always easy.
Georgia is 7-7 against the spread and 6-7-1 in the over/under. When you think of some of the abnormally large numbers the Bulldogs have to cover week in and week out, that is a solid record against the spread. The key note here is that Georgia games have gone over in four of their last five games. Expect some fireworks in the championship.
TCU Horned Frogs Performance Recap and Analysis
Who doesn’t love an underdog? We loved the underdog when the Georgia Bulldogs are the underdog, but this year is more of a David vs Goliath type of game. The issue with that narrative is the TCU Horned Frogs have been counted out all year. They know they are the true “David” in this story. Monday night, the Horned Frogs look to give everything they have for 60 more minutes before the 2022-23 season concludes.
The story for TCU has to be their two-headed monster of Max Duggan and Quenten Johnston on the offensive side of the ball. This duo has lit up secondaries all season long, but this is Georgia’s secondary we are talking about. That inevitably means the Horned Frogs may have to rely on their run-game, but think again. Kendre Miller is the go-to man in the backfield, and he is not quite 100%. If TCU wants to win this game, a receiver like Taye Barber or Derius Davis needs to have a big game.
TCU Horned Frogs Key Injuries
When it comes to the injury report for the College Football Playoff National Championship, the TCU Horned Frogs are healthier than the Georgia Bulldogs. Only four Horned Frogs are listed on the injury report. Monday night will be a case of quality over quantity, as one of the most important players in this game is questionable. TCU running back Kendre Miller is questionable with a knee injury.
Miller has been a star for the Horned Frogs all season. He leads the team in touchdowns with 17 and has 1,399 rushing yards. Miller suffered the injury during the Fiesta Bowl in the win vs the Michigan Wolverines. We do not know if Miller will play, but he will try his hardest.
TCU Horned Frogs Betting Trends to Know
The TCU Horned Frogs stats will show one key thing. They are 10-3-1 against the spread and one of the best cover teams in all of college football. Their one loss on the Moneyline came in the Big 12 title game against the Kansas State Wildcats in overtime by just three points. A lot of this success has to deal with the oddsmakers sleeping on TCU all season.
In many games, they were the underdogs and easily covered. Had the odds been a little more realistic, perhaps this team would not be so good at covering. For now, they are very good against the spread.
In the over/under, the Horned Frogs are 8-6 this season. They easily went over in the Fiesta Bowl last week in the shootout. If you total the losses against the spread this season, TCU barely lost. In the three losses, the spread was not covered by a combined 4.5 points. There is not a trend to follow, besides the fact that TCU are cover machines.
Georgia Bulldogs vs. TCU Horned Frogs Odds
The Georgia Bulldogs are big favorites in the College Football Playoff National Championship against the TCU Horned Frogs.
