NCAAF Performance Recap
Florida State Performance Recap
The Seminoles are coming off a matchup against the Duquesne Dukes where they looked unstoppable, scoring on their first nine drives. The Dukes almost looked better served, not even to put their defense on the field.
En route to a 47-7 thumping over the Dukes, the Seminoles outgained Duquesne by over 300 yards. The game was pretty much over after the first quarter, with the Seminoles leading 20-0.
Even more impressive was the Florida State running game. The Seminoles have three 100-yard rushers amassing over 400 rush yards and six rushing touchdowns.
The Seminoles appear more than battle-tested after opening the season with a one-point victory over LSU; the Seminoles improved to 2-0 with their dominating win over the Dukes.
Cardinals Performance Recap
After taking a 31-7 beatdown against the Syracuse Orange to kick off their season, the Cardinals bounced back, beating the UCF Knights 20-14.
Last week, Louisville gave the Knights their first home loss since 2020. It wasn’t pretty, though.
The Cardinals trailed 14-7 at the half but dug deep and shut out UCF in the second half while scoring 13 unanswered points and securing the victory.
Malik Cunningham, the face of Louisville football stats, were somewhat subpar and will have to improve if the Cardinals are to have a shot at upsetting the Seminoles.

Louisville Analysis
The Louisville Cardinals sit in second to last on the Atlantic Coast, with only winless Boston College trailing them. The Cardinals already have one division loss, so this game is all but a must-win.
Cardinals’ Offense and Defense
To say the Cardinals’ offense has been lackluster is being nice. They’ve yet to eclipse 30 points, scoring 20 and seven points in their two contests this season. They’re currently averaging 13.5 PPG.’
On the defensive ends, it’s pretty much the same song and dance as the offense for Louisville. After giving up 31 in their season opener, they did better last week, only allowing14 points.
The Cardinals still will have to improve upon their 22.5 points allowed per game to have a chance to compete in the conference. Their offense needs improvement as well.
Seminoles vs. Cardinals Injury Report
The Seminoles are good to go for this contest with no real in-season NCAAF injuries. The only injuries for Florida State came in the off-season.
