He completed 36-of-42 passes for 377 yards and two touchdowns. Fresno State also saw promise from running back Jordan Mims, who carried the ball 15 times for 73 yards and two scores.

The Bulldogs also saw a top target emerge for Haener. Nikko Remigio caught nine passes for 100 yards. Haener spread the wealth around when it came to wide receivers. Ten different players caught passes for Fresno State.
Bulldogs Defense
Fresno State’s defense didn’t make many splashes plays on defense against Cal Poly, but the Bulldogs didn’t need to.
Fresno State limited the Mustangs to 4-of-14 on third downs and forced them to punt five times. This is an important game for the Bulldogs.
Fresno State will follow this non-conference game with a road trip to Southern California and Utah before opening Mountain West Conference player with a trip to Boise State.
