Tony Mathis Jr. is the leader of the run game but has yet to score a touchdown via the rush in 2023.
Donovan Smith is the quarterback of the Cougars and has four touchdown passes through two games. In the opener over UTSA, Smith connected with Samuel Brown for 106 yards. In Game Two, Brown picked up 138, so there is no doubt he is the top target.
