Denver Broncos vs Indianapolis Colts Best Bet
Broncos Look to Develop Nix and Young
The Denver Broncos are entering yet another new era. With Russell Wilson no longer at the helm, the team drafted former Oregon quarterback Bo Nix 12th overall. His college teammate, Troy Franklin, was also selected by Denver as their second pick in the fourth round. Nix is expected to start over Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson.
Javonte Williams remains the Broncos’ lead running back, ahead of Samaje Perine and Jaleel McLaughlin. The receiving corps appears set with Courtland Sutton, Marvin Mims Jr., and Josh Reynolds, with Tim Patrick and Franklin next in line.
Denver will wrap up the preseason with home games against the Packers and Cardinals before heading to Seattle for their NFL Regular Week 1 schedule matchup against the Seahawks.
Colts Look to Build Around Richardson and Taylor
Anthony Richardson showed promise under center last season, though his challenge was staying healthy. This season, Joe Flacco serves as the backup. Jonathan Taylor returns as the cornerstone of the Colts’ running game, with Josh Downs and Michael Pittman Jr. expected to be Richardson’s top receiving targets.
The Indianapolis Colts selected edge rusher Laiatu Latu out of UCLA with the 15th overall pick and chose Adonai Mitchell in the second round of the NFL Draft. Mitchell, who played college football at Texas, is expected to compete for a role in the Colts’ receiving lineup.
Indianapolis will host the Arizona Cardinals next week in preseason Week 2 before traveling to Cincinnati on August 22nd. The Colts will open the regular season at home on September 8th against Houston.
Colts Look to Start Preseason with Home Win Against Broncos
We’re backing the home team in this one, with Indianapolis set to win at home over Denver. Our final bet for Sunday’s game is the Indianapolis Colts +1 over the Denver Broncos.
You can also take Indianapolis at +100 on the moneyline. Enjoy the game and all the NFL preseason action, and best of luck with your NFL picks!
