There is another full slate of games set to take place for NFL Week 2 of the NFL season, and that means plenty of good betting options.
Week 1 provided a ton of huge upsets, but things should start to get back to normal in the second week of the season. Here are two of the best NFL bets Week 2 to make.
Best NFL Picks Week 2
The NFL Week 2 betting odds have been set, and it’s time to start looking at the best betting options for the week. Since there were so many upsets in Week 1, look for some of the better teams to bounce back in this one.
The Indianapolis Colts travel to Jacksonville for a matchup with the Jaguars in AFC South Division. Indianapolis is looking to bounce back after tying the Houston Texans in Week 1.
The Dallas Cowboys host the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2, and this should be a good matchup for the road team.
When making the best NFL bets in Week 2, keep in mind that Dallas is dealing with a big injury, and Cincinnati needs to get back on track.
Indianapolis Colts vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
An AFC South matchup should be considered when looking to make the best NFL bets in Week 2. The 0-0-1 Colts travel to Jacksonville as four-point favorites against the 0-1 Jaguars.
Indianapolis was supposed to win this division, but they did not look the part in a tie with the Houston Texans. The Colts shouldn’t have a ton of trouble, as they are clearly the more talented team in this one.

Indianapolis Colts
Offense: The Indianapolis Colts put up 20 points in the season opener, and they did it with a balanced attack. Quarterback Matt Ryan threw for 352 yards, and they also racked up 177 yards on the ground.
Defense: The Colts’ defense struggled a bit in Week 1 as they gave up 20 points to the Houston Texans. Indianapolis did hold the Texans to just 77 rushing yards in that game.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Offense: Jacksonville had just 398 total yards in Week 1, but they were actually better than expected. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence had a touchdown pass but also threw a costly interception.
Defense: The defense of Jacksonville Jaguars simply has to improve after allowing 313 passing yards in Week 1.
NFL Stats and Standings
The AFC South Division did not have a winning team in Week 1, and that means that the Colts are tied for first with a tie.
The NFL standings in this division will be interesting to follow throughout the year, as this doesn’t look like a division with a ton of talent.
Most Remarkable Player for this Matchup
Colts running back Jonathan Taylor is the best player in this matchup as he had 161 yards and one touchdown in NFL Week 1 against the Houston Texans. Taylor is good enough to have a big game in this one.
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Dallas Cowboys
The Cincinnati Bengals were stunned at home by the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1. Cincinnati will now be a seven-point favorite on the road against a Dallas Cowboys team that is beat up.
Dallas lost big to Tampa Bay in Week 1, and they also lost quarterback Dak Prescott in that one. The Cowboys don’t have a ton of hope without Prescott, and taking the Bengals is the right play when making NFL picks today.

Cincinnati Bengals
Offense: Cincinnati racked up 471 yards of total offense in Week 1, and that’s usually going to be good enough to win games. The Bengals also did it with balance, as they had 388 passing yards and 133 rushing yards.
Defense: The defense of Cincinnati Bengals gave up just 269 yards, and they actually kept the team in the game. Cincinnati had a short field to defend often, and they were able to get some big stops.
Dallas Cowboys
Offense: Things couldn’t have gone worse for the Dallas Cowboys on the offensive end in Week 1. Dallas managed to score just three points and had just 269 yards of total offense.
Defense: The defense for Dallas was solid against Tampa Bay in Week 1 as they gave up just 364 total yards and 19 points. Dallas will need that defense to take over games from here on out if they are going to be competitive.
NFL Stats and Standings
The NFL team stats for both the Bengals and Cowboys should continue to look better as the season goes along. Cincinnati was supposed to win in Week 1, but they should start to turn things around in a big way.
Dallas is in a bit of a tough spot, as not having Dak Prescott is going to be a big issue.
Most Remarkable Player for this Matchup
When talking about the Cincinnati Bengals, there are two players that always stand out on the offensive end. Quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase for a duo that is nearly impossible for other teams to stop.
Burrow threw for 338 yards in Week 1, but he also tossed four interceptions. Chase hauled in 10 catches for 129 yards and one TD in the loss.
