Even though the 2022 NFL season is still a few months away, now is the time to start making NFL predictions.
There are some great season-long betting options to look at, and betting on each game will also remain an option.
2022 With Optimism for the Panthers
The Carolina Panthers enter the 2022 season with some optimism, but they still don’t feel like true title contenders.
Don’t expect to see the Panthers at the top of the NFL standings in 2022, but they could be hanging around. Here are some of the betting options available for the Carolina Panthers.
Carolina Panthers Week 1 Matchup Preview
The Carolina Panthers begin the 2022 season by hosting the Cleveland Browns in what has become a must-see matchup. Cleveland opened as a big betting favorite, but the Panthers are now just a one-point underdog.
Carolina will likely have Baker Mayfield under center, and he will be looking for revenge against his former team. The Panthers have plenty of talent on offense, but they just haven’t been able to put it together.
Cleveland Without Watson
Cleveland could have a mess at the QB position if Deshaun Watson is unable to play. The Browns do have a terrific defense, and that until will have a chance to take over in this one.
You can expect a great game in Week 1, but it will be the Panthers getting a win behind Mayfield to begin the 2022 season.

Carolina Panthers Season Props
NFL stats can also be used to make season-long prop bets, but you won’t find a ton of options when it comes to the Carolina Panthers.
Since this team is not expected to have a great season, then the players from this team aren’t going to be featured in these bets.
Season-long Bets
One of the season-long bets you can make is the projected number of wins for the 2022 season. The over/under for wins is set at 6.5 total wins, and getting to seven wins would be a nice year for the Panthers.
The over 6.5 wins have NFL betting odds set at +105, and you can bet on the under 6.5 wins set at -125.
Carolina Panthers 2022 Season Odds
Panthers 2022 Super Bowl Odds
When looking at Super Bowl Odds, you have to look a long way down the list to find the Carolina Panthers. Surprises do happen in the NFL from time to time, but rarely do you see a big underdog win the Super Bowl.
The odds of the Panthers winning the Super Bowl this season are set at +13000.
Carolina Panthers Playoff Odds
Getting back into the playoffs is the first major goal for this team, but the odds don’t favor it happening in 2022.
These odds will change as the season moves along, and they already updated when Baker Mayfield was acquired.
You can place a bet on the Carolina Panthers to make the playoffs at +400 while betting on the other side of that is set at -599.
Carolina Panthers NFC South Odds
Winning the NFC South would be a huge accomplishment for the Panthers, even though they are expected to be in the mix.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the clear betting favorites at -285, but then it’s a battle between the Saints and Panthers. New Orleans has Odds set to +450, and then Carolina checks in at +1000.
Carolina Panthers NFC Championship Odds
The AFC is considered the better conference in the NFL as it has two terrific teams. The NFC might not have two dominant teams, but many teams are still better than the Carolina Panthers.
Carolina has odds set at +6000 to win the NFC, and that doesn’t give them a ton of hope heading into 2022. There are only three teams with worse odds than the Panthers to win the NFC.
