The Bears and Vikings will have a lot of people looking around wondering who will still be with their respective teams in the following months. Both Chicago coach Matt Nagy and Minnesota coach Mike Zimmerman could be coaching their final games with their respective teams. The Bears, who are 6-10, are trying to close the season with a three-game winning streak, while the Vikings, who are 7-9, are looking to avoid a fourth straight loss.
Bears at Vikings Stats
Looking at the Bears Stats
Chicago Bears is hoping rookie quarterback Justin Fields will be back for the season finale. Meanwhile, during the Bears’ back-to-back wins the two previous weeks Andy Dalton and Nick Foles have filled in admirably. Chicago is still searching for a running game to take the pressure off the quarterback.
The Bears haven’t had a 100-yard rusher in a game since Fields ran for 100 in a Week 8 loss to San Francisco. Last week, Chicago’s defense played well against a New York Giants’ offense that had little interest in passing. The Giants only attempted 11 passes and Chicago intercepted two of them in a 29-3.
Looking at the Vikings stats
The Minnesota Vikings were overmatched against the rival Green Bay Packers last week. Playing without Kirk Cousins, who was out due to health and safety protocols, backup Sean Mannion completed 22-of-36 passes for 189 yards and a touchdown. Minnesota, however, couldn’t run the ball at all. Dalvin Cook was limited to 13 yards on nine carries. Mannion, who carried the ball twice for 14 yards, actually led the team in rushing.
Cousins is expected to return and spark a Vikings’ offense that scores 24.6 points per game. Playing against the Bears should be a relief for a Minnesota defense that allows 25.6 points per game. The Vikings have allowed their opponents to score 45 touchdowns this year.

Who to Bet Bears at Vikings
Chicago has seen its play improve the last two weeks, but have picked up two wins over Seattle and the Giants, who are worse than the Bears. Cousins will be eager to play well and audition for other teams should Minnesota be going another direction in the offseason. Top sportsbooks have the Vikings as 2.5-point favorites. The over/under is set at 44.5 points.
If Fields returns, he will have some rust after a two-week absence. Expect Chicago’s offense to struggle a bit while Minnesota will play well enough to win by a field goal and end its season on a positive note.
