Looking early in the NFL week can give us a great chance of getting the best odds and numbers for NFL overs/under bets.
Today, we will be diving into four NFL over to bet in NFL Week 5. All odds are courtesy of main sportsbooks, so the numbers can be a little different depending on what sportsbook you decide on using.
Indianapolis Colts vs Baltimore Ravens (OVER 46)
The Indianapolis Colts have been coming off their best performance last week, and the Baltimore Ravens have been scoring points at a decent rate as well. Carson Wentz has been getting healthier and showcasing his talent, while Lamar Jackson has been doing well, both passing and rushing.
Indy’s defense allowed 24.3 points per game, while Baltimore’s defense is giving up 23 points per game. Forty-six total points is not enough to scare me off as neither quarterback really turns the football over enough, so the over seems like the better play.
Buffalo Bills vs Kansas City Chiefs (OVER 56.5)
Both of these offenses are clicking as they are scoring 33.5 points apiece. It seems like they have hit their stride offensively as both teams have scored at least 40 points in last week’s game.
The defense has been brutally bad for the Chiefs, and the Bills are going to struggle to get stops against a solid offense that has not scored less than 20 points this season.
Over 56.5 seems like a lot but with two generational talents at quarterback like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes and having an elite receiver like Stefon Diggs and Tyreek Hill really helps the offense get going and score points.
Denver Broncos vs Pittsburgh Steelers (OVER 39.5)
I am not going to be scared off of the Broncos‘ offense after their putrid performance last week against the Ravens. The Steelers have not been a good offensive team as they have scored under 20 points in their last three weeks.
However, 40 total points seem too low as the Steelers are giving up points at a good rate. Melvin Gordon and Najee Harries should be able to provide a different look with their ground attack as well. The over has hit in seven of their last ten games against one another, so go with the over to hit here.
New York Giants vs Dallas Cowboys (OVER 52.5)
The Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants are known for their offensive prowess as Daniel Jones and Dak Prescott have done very well at limiting the turnovers. Ezekiel Elliott has been re-emerging as one of the best running backs in the NFL and having wide receivers like Amari Cooper and Sterling Shepard listed on the injury report could only raise the number, so get it while it is as low as it will get.
The over has hit in four of the last five games played against these teams, while the over is 9-3 in the last 12 matchups played in Dallas. Go with over 52.5 points in this game, as these offenses are going to be the reason why this game stays close.
