Raiders at Giants Betting Analysis
On the Raiders side
Josh Jacobs has been a solid running back for the team this year as he has 60 rushes for 204 yards (3.4 yards per carry) with five touchdowns as well as 14 receptions for 110 yards (7.9 yards per catch). In the last game against the Eagles, he was knocked out early with a chest injury as he ran six times for 29 yards (4.8 yards per carry) with a rushing touchdown as well as three catches for 39 yards (13 yards per reception). He will have an extended role with the Henry Ruggs situation playing out.
The Las Vegas Raiders have been decent defensively as they are allowing 23.7 points per game. In their previous game against the Philadelphia Eagles, they gave up 22 points on 358 total yards of offense (223 passing, 135 rushing). The Eagles went 6-of-13 on third down and 2-of-3 on fourth down attempts. If they can get some extra stops, it will be a solid chance to win here.
On the Giants side
The New York Giants are dealing with injuries and rookie wide receiver Kadarius Toney is dealing with a laceration on his hand from Monday night’s game. On the season, he has 27 receptions for 343 yards (12.76 yards per catch) without finding the end zone. In his last game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Toney had four receptions on five targets for just 26 yards (6.5 yards per catch). If he can be more involved in the passing game with the Giants healing up, it will be a great sign.
The New York Giants have been doing decently well as they are giving up 25 points per game this season. In his previous game against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Giants allowed 20 points on 368 total yards of offense (261 passing, 107 rushing). The Chiefs converted almost half their attempts as the Giants allowed them to go 5-of-12 on third down attempts. If the defense can step up like this against a lesser offensive team, it will be a great sign for the Giants here.
Raiders at Giants Prediction
Even with the Henry Ruggs situation affecting the locker room and leaving him probably out for this game, the Raiders are healthier and more talented at this time. Daniel Jones has struggled as he has three touchdowns and four interceptions in the last three games for him. The road team has covered in four of the previous five games so go with the Las Vegas Raiders to cover the spread laying three points on the road here.
