The NFL betting odds could be shifting in Sin City as the Las Vegas Raiders prepare for a 2022 campaign with lofty expectations. LV made major headlines this offseason, starting with a regime change and punctuated with a trade for, arguably, the best wide receiver in football.
Following this team provided an opportunity to practice how to bet on football, but with new general manager Dave Ziegler making a splash for Davante Adams, and Josh McDaniels replacing interim head coach Rich Bisaccia (who took over for the maligned Jon Gruden), the odds could look a lot different, despite a run to the postseason a year ago.
This article will provide NFL betting tips as we look at the Raiders’ season odds, props and futures in 2022.
Las Vegas Raiders Week 1 Matchup Preview
The Raiders are coming off a tumultuous 2021, marred by Gruden’s resignation, but Bisaccia was able to steady the ship and lead the franchise to their first winning season since 2016. They finished the year 10-7 and in second place in the AFC West, ultimately falling to the Bengals in the Wild Card round.
Vegas won’t have any cupcake warm-ups to kick off 2022, as their first five games are among the toughest of any NFL team. Their season opens in their own division as they face the Chargers in Los Angeles during the late afternoon window.
The division rivals split their season series last year, including the memorable Week 18 overtime clash that sent the Raiders to the playoffs and the Los Angeles Chargers home. The lookahead line for the season opener sees L.A. as four-point favorites on September 11.

Las Vegas Raiders Season Props
Not only can you bet on season odds for the Las Vegas Raiders, but you can also bet on season props. These types of bets look at a certain NFL player’s stats or betting on a specific player to win an award.
Once the Raiders acquired Adams, the new Raiders’ front office prioritized securing their quarterback and did so by locking Derek Carr into an extension. The two were college teammates at Fresno State and now are at the forefront of several awards and props heading into the season.
Adams is +1400 to win Offensive Player of the Year and +1200 to lead the NFL in receiving yards. Carr is +2800 to win MVP and just +1000 to throw for the most yards. Maxx Crosby, a recipient of a contract extension as well this offseason, is in the upper half of Defensive Player of the Year candidates at +2800.
Las Vegas Raiders 2022 Season Odds
Las Vegas Raiders 2022 Super Bowl Odds
A winning Raiders Super Bowl ticket will reward a bettor significantly if they’re able to hoist the Lombardi Trophy next February. Las Vegas is +4000 to win it all this year, same odds as the Dolphins who also brought in a big-name wide receiver this offseason, in Tyreek Hill.
The Raiders have not advanced to a Super Bowl since 2002 and have not won one since 1983, their third championship in an eight-year span at the time.
Las Vegas Raiders Playoff Odds
Before they can win the whole thing, they have to qualify for the playoff tournament. Their strength of schedule softens a bit after their BYE week, but they’ll hope not to dig themselves into too deep a hole during those first five games.
LV hasn’t earned consecutive playoff berths since 2001-02 and are listed at +160 to make the playoffs this year, -200 to miss.
Las Vegas Raiders AFC West Odds
Heading into the 2022 season, the AFC West may be the toughest division in football. Derek Carr must go toe-to-toe with the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert and now Russell Wilson. KC may have lost Hill but they’re still the favorites to win this division.
Conversely, the Las Vegas Raiders are the longshots at +650 as both the Chargers and Broncos are less than 3-1 to capture the crown.
Las Vegas Raiders AFC Championship Odds
Not only are their fellow AFC West rivals favored above them to win the conference, but so are six other teams in the AFC. Once again, the Raiders have identical odds as the Dolphins (+2000) to win the AFC, ahead of just the Patriots, Steelers, Jaguars, Jets and Texans.
