Minnesota Vikings vs. Carolina Panthers Analysis
Bryce Young Returns: Can He Spark the Offense?
Bryce Young is expected to play in this game. The rookie quarterback from Alabama missed last week, and Andy Dalton took the start. Young will look to get things going, as they have struggled a bit time in all aspects of the offense.
Young has completed 42 of 81 passes for just 299 yards in two games. Carolina Panthers players still remain confident in the rookie quarterback.
Adam Thielen will be taking part in this game for Carolina, in a game against his former team in Minnesota. Thielen leads the Panthers in receptions with 20 and yards with 211 and has two touchdowns on the season.
The run game has sputtered big time, as Miles Sanders is averaging just over 45 yards per game and has just one touchdown on the season. His NFL MVP odds are slim.
Vikings’ Offensive Strength: Scoring 23 Points Per Game
For the Minnesota Vikings, offense has not been the problem. The Vikings are, when looking at the NFL Team Stats – scoring 23 points per game, but the defense has been a mess.
The Vikings are allowing teams to score over 27 points per game. In fact, Minnesota has not gone a game this season in which they have allowed less than 20 points.
Jordan Addison has been fun to watch so far for the Vikings as one of the Vikings receivers. Addison is third on the team when looking at NFL Player Stats, in receptions, with 13, but second with 185 yards receiving, and tied with two others for most touchdowns, with two.
The Vikings have struggled to run the football. Minnesota elected to let Dalvin Cook go, and Alexander Mattison has yet to get the job done. He has just 155 yards in three games.
Minnesota traded for Cam Akers, but it’s unknown whether he will dress in this game or not.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Carolina Panthers Betting Pick and Prediction
It’s time for the Minnesota Vikings to get back on track. The Vikings have too much talent to be winless after three weeks of the season. There is no way they want to start 0-4 and try digging out of that hole.
They are still within striking distance in a division that is not going to be great. Look for more of the same from the Minnesota offense, as Kirk Cousins finds his weapons early and often.
For Carolina, even if Bryce Young plays in this game, they just do not have the offense to keep pace. Barring any late additions to the NFL injury report, Minnesota actually plays well on defense and wins this game going away.
Our Vikings vs Panthers best bets for this game is the Minnesota Vikings -4, and our prediction is the Vikings will win the game 27-17 over the Panthers on Sunday. Hope you enjoy this game and all the NFL Matchups for Week 4!
