Los Angeles Rams vs. Denver Broncos Betting Preview
The Denver Broncos are looking to rebuild their brand a bit after a terrible 2022 season. The Broncos head coach, Nathaniel Hackett, did not last the season, and his work with Russell Wilson set the franchise back. This team has not reached the postseason after their last Super Bowl win. The Broncos will return with Russell Wilson under center in 2023, but Sean Payton has said he is not afraid to bench the superstar.
Jarrett Stidham and Ben DiNucci will back up Wilson. The Broncos hope the addition of Javonte Williams to the lineup for the entire season is another cog that helps them move the football. Denver has receivers Jerry Jeudy, Cortland Sutton, and either Mavin Mims Jr., Kendall Hinton, or Marquez Callaway to help Wilson out. Denver saw Jeudy fall just 28 yards shy of 1,000 last season, and that’s with Wilson playing poor football.
The Broncos will wrap up their NFL schedule for the preseason in this game. The regular season will start on September 10th in a divisional game against the Raiders.
Rams’ Running Power
The Los Angeles Rams are in a similar situation, where they have much catching up to do. The Rams did not have a first-round NFL draft pick due to the numerous trades the season they won the Super Bowl. But, they are not picking up the pieces around many newcomers. Familiar faces Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp will lead the way. Both have injury concerns, but when on the field together, they have been dynamite. In just nine games a season ago, Kupp picked up 812 receiving yards.
The Rams are also looking for a big season from Cam Akers. The former Florida State Seminoles star did not get opportunities early in the season but had a monster second half of the season. He finished with 786 rushing yards. Kyren Williams will be his backup. Also returning for the Rams on offense is tight end Tyler Higbee. He was second on the team a season ago, as he picked up 72 receptions for the Rams.
Los Angeles Rams schedule will see them wrap up their preseason slate and start the first two weeks with divisional games. In week 1, the Rams are at Seattle, and in week 2, they will host the San Francisco 49ers.
Los Angeles Rams vs. Denver Broncos Betting Prediction
The Denver Broncos game today is going to show some urgency. The Broncos are going to want to get going in this game. Sean Payton hates to lose, even if it is preseason play. Look for the Broncos to be fired up in this one, as they are at home.
