With the National Football League on its way here, and the preseason action nearing its beginning, it’s a great time to look at some of the action you can only bet on before the season begins. This time we are going to look at Who Will Be the 2023-2024 NFL Reception Leader. Continue reading below to get our best NFL reception leaders betting odds Betting Picks and much more.
Let’s take a look at some of the favorites for the NFL Reception Leaders Betting Odds:
NFL Receptions Leader 2023-24
Cooper Kupp +600
Kupp did not finish in the Top 30 a season ago with the NFL reception leaders betting odds high, due to his only 9 games played. During those 9 games though, he had 812 yards. If you average around 100 yards a game for 17 games, you are going to give yourself a chance to beat the leader.
The Rams are going to need to throw the football, and Matthew Stafford will not be afraid to do so. There is a reason the 30-year-old from Eastern Washington is the favorite coming into the season. Kupp has played in over 500 career games, and has over 6,300 career yards. Expect him to be among the NFL Receptions Leader Stats when January arrives.
Justin Jefferson +600
The co-favorite for the NFL Reception Leader Betting Odds is the defending champion. Justin Jefferson played in all 17 games a season ago, and caught 128 passes for 1,809 yards. Jefferson picked up just 8 touchdowns, but his 106.4 yards per game led the way.
Jefferson will have a new rookie wide receiver joining him, but Adam Thielen is now gone to Carolina. Jefferson is an elite athlete, and someone that Kirk Cousins will love to throw the ball to. New running back situation in Minnesota, so we will see what that does for the offense. Jefferson at 6/1 odds is a good play.
Ja’Marr Chase +700
Chase played in 12 of 17 games a season ago. He averaged 87.2 yards per game, and finished the season over 1,000. His teammate Tee Higgins did so as well. Joe Burrow and that Cincinnati offense are going to air it out again.
Many feel this is the season the Bengals not only win the AFC like they did in 2021, but also win the Super Bowl. That’s a tall task, but if they are going to do it – they will need big-time production from Chase. Taking him at 7/1 odds is also a good value for such an elite player.
Davante Adams +700
The Las Vegas Raiders receiver never seemed fully comfortable in Las Vegas last season. Despite that, he still finished with 100 catches and 1,516 yards. Now, Derek Carr is gone, and the new quarterback will be Jimmy Garoppolo. If Jimmy G was a smart man, he would make sure Adams got the ball early and often.
Not sure the Raiders offense will let him air it out enough for Adams to win this, but he is certainly going to be in the mix.
Tyreek Hill +800
The Dolphins standout was one of two receivers in the Top 10 a season ago. He caught 119 passes for 1,710 yards, while Jaylen Waddle caught 75 passes for 1,356 yards. Once again in 2023 Tua is going to spread the wealth, but Hill is just a better target in bulk. Look for his targets to be around the same; 170 or so, with a chance for his number of 1,710 to rise to above 1,800 this season. Hill is a good one to watch at +800.
Travis Kelce +1200
Back for another season with Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City right end finished 8th a season ago. Kelce always puts up great NFL Player Stats, and last year caught 110 passes for 1,338 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Kelce is a big body with strong hands, so anything thrown at him can and will be caught. If a tight end was going to win this, it would be Kelce. As he continues to age, his routes get shorter, but he produces just as well.
Stefon Diggs +1200
It seems every year there is something that has Stefon Diggs a little sidetracked and losing a potential NFL mvp odds vote. Diggs never seemed happy last season, and still caught 108 passes for 1,429 yards.
Diggs was irritated in the off-season, but he will be back for another season with Josh Allen. This guy can fly, and had he not missed a game last year, he likely would have finished third, with over 1,500 yards receiving.
Sleepers to Watch
- Amon-Ra St. Brown +1800
- Austin Ekeler +1800
- CeeDee Lamb +2200
- DK Metcalf +3000
In the end, this is going to be a great race to watch. For our money, we are going to go with our NFL Predictions of Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase. In our mind, these two are the most athletic receivers, and will both be in big games all season. At 6/1 and 7/1, taking them both would earn you some money if they were to win.
