The Polish star has won four of the last five French Opens, including a few months back, but as good as she is on clay courts it’s just not enticing enough at -188 odds to bet on her to win the gold medal.
There are many better options with much more favorable tennis odds, including 2022 French Open finalist Coco Gauff. Let’s take a look at the 2024 Paris Games women’s Olympic tennis betting guide to find out why.

Women’s Wimbledon Olympic Tennis Tournament Betting Analysis
Iga Swiatek (-188)
Swiatek is nearly unbeatable at Roland Garros. That’s hard to ignore. She has won four of the last five French Opens and three in a row, including a dominant performance in 2024 in which she beat Jasmine Paolini 6-2, 6-1 in the final. She can be beaten at Roland Garros, however. Swiatek lost in the quarter-finals to Maria Sakkari in 2021.
Coco Gauff (+600)
Gauff, who has the second-shortest odds, is a much more viable pick with a better payout. And it’s not exactly a long shot either. She was runner-up to Swiatek in 2022, reached the quarters in 2023, and semis in 2024. Coco beat Swiatek for the first time in her career last season at the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati and is 12-4 on clay this season. She is competing in her first Olympic Games and will be motivated to help what should be a dominant effort for the Americans.
Other Options
There are plenty of other decent options, but it seems like it’s either Swiatek or Gauff. Swiatek has just one loss in 21 matches on clay this season. Barbora Krejcikova, the 2024 Wimbledon winner, came out of nowhere to win and may not be able to sustain that success. Elena Rybakina is a better option for the women’s Olympic tennis betting guide – she is 4-2 in her career against Swiatek, including a surprising 2-0 on clay.
Women’s Wimbledon Olympic Tennis Tournament Previous Winners and Betting Trends
Looking back at the women’s Olympic tennis betting guide for Tokyo 2020, Belinda Bencic took home the gold medal, beating Marketa Vondrousova in the final. Elina Svitolina won the bronze medal. Four years prior, Monica Puig beat Angelique Kerber to win the gold medal and Petra Kvitova won the bronze medal. Serena Williams was the 2012 gold medal winner for the tennis moneyline, beating Maria Sharapova in the final.

Women’s Wimbledon Olympic Tennis Tournament Betting Picks
Swiatek could very well win, but it’s not worth a wager at such high odds. You would have to wager $188 just to win $100 and there’s too much unpredictability with women’s tennis, especially in a non-WTA event that will feel like a French Open but not quite have the same stakes.
That’s why someone like Gauff, who is young and has something to prove, could be a great value pick for the women’s Olympic tennis betting guide, especially at +600. Good luck with all of your 2024 Olympic predictions!
