There has been a lot of division in the United States, and we are getting closer to the election of the next President. There’s a lot of politics news that can really shape up the White House for the future. Check this Presidential election betting news.
We are going to dive into the presidential election betting odds and determine which candidate will be the President of the United States of America after Election Day.
Donald Trump (+175)
As of this writing, Donald Trump is the favorite to be the next President, and it makes a lot of sense. He has a lot of loyal supporters, and after the previous few years of a Democratic President, typically, the Republican candidate is going to have a leg up.
Trump has not officially announced that he is running, but the peripherals say that he is preparing for another campaign trail. There were a lot of positives and negatives with Trump in the White House, and the entertainment odds have him as a favorite just because of his personality and following.
I’d say it’s a great bet because even if the Republican candidates try to knock him, it’s Donald Trump, and he can have a great shot of winning once again in political unrest.
Ron DeSantis (+275)
Ron DeSantis is the current governor of Florida and has the second-best presidential election odds right now. However, there is a lot of speculation that he would not run against Trump, the fact being they have a lot of the same values and would just split the vote.
DeSantis is currently campaigning for re-election in Florida, but we have seen people leave their jobs to run for President before. Betting on politics can be tricky, but DeSantis does not feel like a real threat this time around.
Joe Biden (+400)
Joe Biden is a leading Democrat for the presidency, and it makes sense as he is the current President. He is preparing for re-election as the entertainment news sites are reporting it is going to happen.
It feels like he is a legitimate shot as he beat Donald Trump back in the 2020 Presidential Election, and the last time a Democrat was in office (Barack Obama), he served two terms.
Biden has implemented a lot of different things and had to get sworn in as a global pandemic was about to reach the United States, but the outcry over how that was handled and the fact the economy is on the brink of another recession, people have been very against him as well.
However, he’s going to be the Democratic nominee as long as he is up for re-election, and that means he will get better odds as the day gets closer, so go with him as a good bet here as well.
Kamala Harris (+850)
As you can clearly see, there is a huge drop off in the odds after the big three names, as the Presidential election betting oddsmakers really see this potentially as a three-man race.
However, Obama’s Vice President was Joe Biden, so it would be fitting for Kamala Harris to try to run. However, I do not believe 2024 is her time if Biden is going up for re-election; otherwise, she would try to shine.
The history of the first woman president in history, as well as the first black woman to be President, would be a thrilling turn in the nation’s history, so that would be fun.
However, her time seems to be in the 2028 election if she is going to be on the ticket, so I would avoid her and any other people to be betting on.
Conclusion
The fanfare that Donald Trump has really points out that he will be the candidate for the Republican Party, while Joe Biden going up for another term means he will be the Democratic nominee.
In American history, no third-party candidate has ever won, so it seems we are going to be on a collision course of Biden vs. Trump once again for the White House.
I would lean that Trump is going to become the next President simply because of the outcry of people hating on Biden. I would throw a wager on both Biden and Trump as the two candidates for their respective parties, as you never know how Presidential election betting will go.
