Last season ended how many pundits predicted it. Many people believed Bayern Munich would retain the title, and they did.
As we approach the new season, the 2022-2023 Bundesliga outright odds are already available for bettors to wager on.
2022-2023 Bundesliga Outright Odds
Teams are already trying to improve their teams to ensure that they can stop Bayern from winning their 11th straight title.
However, Bayern Munich is not ready to give up the crown as they’ve already improved some areas in the team.
Therefore, we might see Bayern win another league title. It would take some time to see who would win, but we think the new season would be exciting and filled with memorable moments.
The German Bundesliga has 18 teams, each playing 34 games for the entire season. After the 34 rounds are completed, the team with the highest point will win the competition.
Competition Format
The competition uses the same format as most leagues in Europe. Therefore, you know that a win would give three points, and a draw would mean both teams get one point each.
Aside from winning the league, there are other outright odds to bet. You can go with lines such as to qualify for UCL, avoid relegation, relegation, etc.
It depends on your preference; in this case, you can choose a wide range of options. You should try as much as possible to research the teams before you bet.

From the table, it is clear that Bayern Munich is the who the bookies are backing to win the competition. They believe the team has the best chance to win, and it comes as no shock because no team comes close to the defending champions, and with the addition of Sadio Mane, they’re better than last season.
Bundesliga Consistency
Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are the only teams that have shown any sign of consistency in the league.
They’ve continued to push for the title. However, it hasn’t worked. The last team to win the league aside from Bayern is Dortmund, but for the last ten years, they’ve been yo-yo-ing between second and third place.
Outside of the top three, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Monchengladbach, and Eintracht Frankfurt are the only teams that can compete with the top teams.
They are the ones that usually occupy the European spots, and in some cases, we see Wolfsburg become part of the top spots.
Bundesliga Analysis Breakdown
The German Bundesliga is not too competitive at the top, especially regarding who will win the league. However, qualifying for the champions league and other European competitions plus avoiding relegation is where the fight lies. There, you’ll find teams that do more than expected to ensure they enter those positions.
In that case, if you want to bet on who to win, you might not have the luxury of many options. It is easier to just go with Bayern Munich.
However, some sports betting sites allow you to bet on the option of who will likely finish second? Or who will finish above the rest of the league, aside from Bayern Munich?
Bundesliga Favorites to Win
So, if you look at the table, you’ll see that Borussia Dortmund is the favorite to win the league aside from Bayern Munich.
However, this is not set in stone because we’ve seen cases where Dortmund wasn’t second on the log, and it was either:
- Bayer Leverkusen
- RB Leipzig
- Borussia Monchengladbach
If you feel the option is too limited, you can check out the other outright options available. In this case, you can go with the ones that give you the extra push.
You don’t want to end up missing out on good odds whenever you decide to place bets. Therefore, it is better if you research the games and teams first.
Bundesliga Outright Teams’ Information
There are 18 teams in the German Bundesliga, and each has the objective to at least finish high up on the table. The first goal of the season is to avoid relegation.
After that, they want to qualify for any of the European competitions. Finally, the main goal for every season is to win the league, which is the hardest one of all.
Since only one team can win the league, it is easier for the teams to try other things. Therefore, we would love to see how they set up and start the new season.
Each team will play the other 17 in the league twice. They’ll each play 34 games, and the goal is to accumulate as many three points as possible.
Aside from points, goals also count. Teams with more goals would have the edge when they share points with others.
King of the League
Finally, head-to-head can come into play when they are leveled on every other metric. For the past ten years, Bayern has been the king in the league, and they’ve continued to dominate.
Dortmund has done massive work in the transfer window to recruit many talented players. However, we don’t know if it would be enough to stop the domination of Bayern Munich.
Also, we would like to see more teams try to compete with the champions. That way, there would be more competition in the league.
Bundesliga Outright Pick and Predictions
With the way the league has been for quite some time now, if we are to pick a winner, it would be Bayern Munich because they have the best chance to win the league.
They’ve proven time and time again that they would win the league without any hassle. Therefore, it is difficult to bet on any other team for this outright line.
However, for other options, such as who would win the league other than Bayern Munich, we would go for RB Leipzig because we believe they have a good chance to finish higher than other teams.
But, we think the battle will likely be between Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig, and Borussia Dortmund for this betting line.
