Los Angeles FC
Los Angeles FC will take on FC Dallas at the Banc of California Stadium on Wednesday with a three-game undefeated streak on the line. The team defeated the New York Red Bulls 2-0 on Sunday to increase their point lead in the Western Conference MLS standings to four points over Real Salt Lake.
In their win over the NY Red Bulls at home, Cristian Arango and Diego Palacios scored in the 67th and 70th minutes, respectively. LAFC has won three of its last four games, outscoring its opponents 8-3, and is now unbeaten in four straight MLS games.
With just one loss in their past nine games and a strong run of form, Steve Cherundolo’s team will be optimistic going into the match against FC Dallas. They will also benefit from the acquisition of free-agent Gareth Bale.
Wales’ Gareth Bale left LaLiga champions Real Madrid and signed for LAFC on a 12-month deal. Despite injuries, Bale had a trophy-laden period at Real, winning three LaLiga championships, five Champions League titles, three Club World Cups, and the Spanish Cup.

With 26 points from 16 games, FC Dallas is currently fourth in the MLS Western Conference rankings. In their most recent game, Austin FC held them to a 2-2 draw. According to the MLS stats, Dallas is in a bit of a slump as of late as they have only achieved one victory in their last five matches.
Paul Arriola, a winger for FC Dallas, is the player to watch for this team as he has scored seven of the team’s last ten league goals. With Dallas, Arriola has already scored eight goals in league action this year in just 15 games.
Before their woes, FC Dallas enjoyed an MLS-best nine-game winning streak. However, the most recent dip has forced them to start over, and they will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday against a solid LAFC squad that is currently in the first place.

LAFC vs. Dallas FC Pick and Prediction
Certainly, Los Angeles FC deserves to be favored as they are the leading point-getters in the MLS this year and have played well offensively and defensively. They have a solid record versus FC Dallas and are in decent shape going into the matchup on Wednesday, especially with Dallas struggling as of late.
Dallas’s performances away from home have significantly improved in 2022, but sadly their road record doesn’t truly reflect that. Despite this, I think coach Estévez and his staff will have some urgency to get this squad back on track.
They have one of the most talented duos in 21-year-old Jesus Ferreira, who holds the league lead with nine goals this year, and Pual Arriola, who holds eight goals so far this season.
When making your MLS predictions, bet on Dallas to deliver! I believe Dallas FC goes into LA and surprises everyone with their potent offensive attack.
Pick: Dallas FC (+360)
