Creating a parlay means connecting multiple bets together to get higher payouts for winning bets. This allows you to win more money on fights with bigger favorites, but it’s still more difficult to win because you need every bet to hit on a parlay ticket.
We will break down three upcoming UFC fights, give you predictions, and discuss why that will be the most likely outcome in each matchup. Winning some extra money is always a blast and makes these APEX events more enjoyable to watch.
Barboza Murphy UFC Fight Night parlay Legs
Leg #1 Abus Magomedov vs Warlley Alves
The first leg of this Barboza vs. Murphy UFC Fight Night parlay is going to be on the preliminary card. We are taking Abus Magomedov to get his hand raised against Warlley Alves on Saturday.
Magomedov is coming off back-to-back losses to fighters that were slightly out of his comfort zone this early in his UFC career. He is a very skilled fighter with size and talent, but he wasn’t ready for a main event against Sean Strickland in his second UFC fight.
He is going to have a massive height and reach advantage on Saturday and will use his kickboxing skills to control the distance and beat up the struggling Alves. Magomedov is a solid Muay Thai fighter with long legs and very good front kicks. Those will give Alves trouble coming forward.
The minimal movement and pressure of Alves at this point of his career will allow Magomedov to be comfortable and set the pace for this fight. He struggles when he is pressured, but he will most likely be able to be the one pressuring in this matchup.
- Abus Magomedov ML -300
Leg #2 Adrain Yanez vs Vinicius Salvador
The second leg of this parlay will be on the main card, with Adrain Yanez being picked to beat Vinicius Salvador in the bantamweight division. Yanez is in a similar situation as Magomedov; coming off two losses after being a highly-touted prospect.
A lot of MMA fans make UFC picks today based on the most recent version of fighters, and that’s unfortunate because everyone can have a bad night or two in the octagon. This doesn’t take away from Yanez’s elite striking ability with clean boxing and incredible kicking skills.
Salvador is coming off two losses as well, but he lost to prospects like himself. The levels are very different between these two and Yanez will show that on Saturday night when he displays a very apparent speed and technique advantage.
- Adrian Yanez ML -325
Leg #3 Edson Barboza vs Lerone Murphy
The final leg of this Barboza vs. Murphy Fight Night parlay is the headliner of the event, Edson Barboza. We are taking him to cash in at underdog odds and beat up the very skilled Lerone Murphy.
On paper, Murphy is the undefeated prospect who is in line to be the next UK star in the sport, going up against a 38-year-old gatekeeper. This seems like a bad UFC bet to make. Barboza outclasses Murphy despite Murphy’s skill and punching power.
This won’t be a one-sided fight, but dismissing Barboza because of his age is not smart to do. He looked great in his last performance, a 5-round dominant decision win over a dangerous and powerful Sodiq Yusuff.
Barboza’s leg kicks from range might be the biggest key in this matchup. His ability to control the distance and punish Murphy from range to the legs and body will force the inexperienced UK fighter to rush things to try to land with his hands–which isn’t a good place to be against Barboza.
- Edson Barboza ML +120
If you looking to bet on a UFC fight tonight, this three-leg parlay is at +284, according to UFC odds. If you bet $100 on this parlay and it hits, you will receive a total payout of about $383.58.
