The real MMA fans know how fun this UFC 293 fight card is going to be that’s set to take place this weekend on the UFC schedule, but for those of you who think that this card is lacking star power, let’s see if we can make the experience better for you by giving away some key prop betting picks.
Making UFC 293 prop bets will make the experience of the event even more fun to watch, and you can end up winning some extra money with the nice payouts that prop bets tend to have. With the betting handicappers in Las Vegas focusing mostly on money lines, prop bets give the average sports bettor a fun way to win some more money.
Starting at the preliminary card all the way to the main event middleweight championship bout between Israel Adesanya and Sean Strickland, there are plenty of props to bet on and win big. Let’s take a closer look at a few key fights to take advantage of.
Prop Bet Lines
The Haqparast Comeback Story
On the prelims, Nasrat Haqparast returns after a year away from competing to take on UFC debutant Landon Quinones. This is interesting matchmaking by the UFC, but the advantage goes to Haqparast due to his experience against some great fighters and how good he really is.
Take Haqparast to get his first finish since 2019 in a big comeback fight for him.
- You can get that prop bet at around +135 right now at select sportsbooks, according to UFC odds.
Jamie Mullarkey’s Opportunity
The next pick to take advantage of is Jamie Mullarkey, who has a favorable matchup against John Makdessi. Mullarkey is due for a huge performance, and taking him to win inside the distance at +210 is the way to go. These international events in the UFC usually give you a good chance of taking people from that country–they tend to come out with so much energy and momentum from the crowd.

Rounding out the prelims, City Kickboxing’s own Carlos Ulburg is taking on Da Woon Jung in the featured prelim bout to set the table for the PPV portion of the event. Ulberg is one of the most exciting upcoming prospects in the UFC, with a great team around him and tons of talent.
- The prop bet to make for this light heavyweight bout is Ulberg winning inside the distance at -165.
This isn’t awesome for usual prop betting odds, but it’s better than Ulberg’s -260 betting line.
Tuivasa’s Road to Redemption
Moving onto the co-main event of the evening, we have Tai Tuivasa vs. Alexander Volkov. These two are both great fighters, and Tuivasa needs a big win here in front of his home crowd to get back on track and stay at the top of the heavyweight division.
Without being biased and picking the fan-favorite Tuivasa at underdog odds, you can bet on the over/under line.
- Take the under 1.5 round total at -115 odds and cheer for a quick finish from these heavyweights.
Adesanya’s Dominance
Now for the main event, Israel Adesanya is a massive betting favorite over Sean Strickland. That means the only reasonable way to bet on this fight is probably to use UFC 293 prop bets to receive nice payouts.

- The pick to make here for the main event is Adesanya winning by TKO/KO at -125.
These are much better odds than his money line pick, and it’s a big possibility that Adesnaya makes easy work out of the lesser-talented Strickland.
Longshot Pick
Even though UFC 293 prop bets can be tough to hit because there are so many more variables in play, we try to make smart UFC picks. Sometimes, it’s fun to bet on a massive underdog and hope for the big win, so let’s look at the best longshot play to make at UFC 293.
Power runs into the Tafa fam! 👊

The longshot pick to make is heavyweight Justin Tafa to win in round 3 at +1400 odds. These are crazy odds for something that seems very possible. The thought process behind this pick is that Tafa will have a feeling-out process with Austen Lane after their first fight ended in seconds due to an eye poke.
After the first round, Tafa will be tired, and the second round will get away from him a bit as he takes time to rest for a few big bursts of energy later in the fight. Lane isn’t an elite fighter and will lose focus and energy later in the fight, which leads to Tafa landing a big shot and finishing the fight at the beginning of the third round.
