Preliminary Card Betting Odds Preview
Arguably the most important part of this UFC 305 prelims betting preview is understanding what the betting lines are and what each of the odds means for a sports bettor.
These lines will show you whether or not a UFC fighter is even worth betting on, based on the value in their money line, and if any other prop bets can give you extra value and a better chance to win this weekend.
Here are the UFC odds for this preliminary card:
Kenan Song (-170) vs. Ricky Glenn (+140)
This early prelim fight is very intriguing to bet on. Song is a battle-tested veteran who seems to have a lot of skills and ability for someone outside the rankings. You can get Song to win inside the distance at -120.Â
Glenn is on a losing skid with two first-round KO losses in a row, so he needs a big win here. He has a lot of value at +425 to win inside the distance in this one while moving up a weight division after the struggles at lightweight.
Casey O’Neil (+120) vs. Luana Santos (-150)
As a once highly-touted prospect, O’Neil has an opportunity to get back on track after suffering two losses in 2023. She has tons of value in winning inside the distance and making a statement at +400.
Santos is no easy fight. She is undefeated in the UFC with two finishes and is still only at +320 to win inside the distance. There is a lot of value in her as she matches up well against her opponent this weekend.
Junior Tafa (-130) vs. Valter Walker (Ev)
The heavyweights are set to be the last UFC fight on the prelims, setting the table for the PPV portion of the card. Tafa will be a fan-favorite and have lots of support, coming in as the slight favorite and at a solid +110 to win inside the distance. He throws bombs with his hands and it’s a matter of time before one connects.
Valter Walker is the brother of light heavyweight contender, Johnny Walker. He is coming off a loss in his UFC debut but looks to restart his trek with a big win. He has incredible size and is a good athlete. His value to win inside the distance is currently at +285. More on the stylistic matchup before making betting picks below.

Preliminary Card Betting Picks
Now that we have an understanding of what the oddsmakers think about these matchups, the UFC 305 prelims betting preview can be closed out with free UFC betting picks. These are made after researching betting trends and studying each fighter’s recent performances, matching them up based on their styles.
Kenan Song vs Ricky Glenn
This is a great matchup for Song. He has proven he can compete with some of the toughest guys in the division, has dangerous power in his hands, and knows his way around the octagon with his movement and ability to find ways to win fights.
The downward trend of Glenn’s skills is concerning as he has looked slower and older in his recent performances, now having a suspect chin as well. Song will be able to rock Glenn on the feet and find a way to overpower the slower and less durable man.
- Pick: Song ML -170.
Casey O’Neil vs Luana Santos
This is a very tough fight for O’Neil coming off two losses. She is getting no favors from the UFC with a young, hungry, and aggressive Santos looking to use O’Neil as a stepping stone. The offensive grappling of Santos is dangerous and will give O’Neil some physical problems.
We are taking Santos to get the win after showing how she is levels above O’Neil on the ground.
- Santos ML -160.
Junior Tafa vs Valter Walker
Heavyweight MMA is pretty much a different sport than the rest of the divisions. This is a straightforward matchup between a brawler and a guy who will try to wrestle. If Walker can’t get a takedown in the opening couple of minutes, he is in trouble because Tafa will be letting his hands go in front of that Perth crowd.
The skill and athletic ability of Walker aren’t as impressive as his brother, we are taking Tafa to win by TKO/KO at +125.
- Pick: Tafa to win by TKO/KO (+125)
