Aces and Liberty Against the Field
Will anyone be able to prevent the Aces or Liberty from winning the WNBA championship? The Aces are the current WNBA stats leaders in just about every major offensive statistical category, while the Liberty are coming together as a super team after all the offseason acquisitions they made.
Sportsbooks offer odds on Aces, Liberty, or rest of WNBA to win title. In those markets, the Aces and Liberty are favorites at around -500, with the field catching close to +400 odds. Las Vegas and New York are the only realistic contenders for the 2023 NBA championship.
Possible Upset Candidates

Barring some kind of injuries sustained by those teams while enduring the WNBA schedule 2023 has thrown at them, New York and Las Vegas are head and shoulders above the rest of the pack.
While taking longer plus prices is always enticing, there is a reason that the rest of the league is at over +1000 odds to win it all.
Instead of taking on one of the longshots to win the championship this year, it might be a better strategy to find opportunities to bet on the Liberty and Aces at plus prices when available. Getting the Liberty at their current price, then betting on the Aces when the Liberty show that they have improved as a team, could be the optimal move in this situation.
