As we get ready to start the second half of the season, it is time to start looking at who can win the championship in the WNBA. Can the Las Vegas Aces win it again? Will a new team emerge over the last few weeks of the season? Here is a look at the updated odds to win the WNBA Championship for the 2024 season:

The defending champions have not been off to a rip-roaring start like last season, but still have plenty of talent to defend their title. A’Ja Wilson is the runaway leader for MVP in the league, and she has a cast of characters ready to rock and roll with her. Vegas is going to be in a big time fight for the top spot in the West as the second half moves along, as Minnesota and Seattle are in the battle with them.
New York Liberty+155
The Liberty head into the second half of the season on a four game winning streak. The Liberty are 21-4 on the season, and have gone 12-1 at home. New York is 15-2 against the East and 6-2 against the West. They also boast the top point differential in all of the league. The Liberty are going to be out for blood when the postseason starts. New York is tied with Vegas for the best odds to win it all in the WNBA.
Connecticut Sun +800
There is no betting odds to win the WNBA title without including the Connecticut Sun. This team is really good. They are 10-3 at home and 8-3 on the road. They are 10-4 against the East and 8-2 against the West. Connecticut has the best defense in the league, allowing less than 73 points per game. Defense is known to win championships. The Sun are +800 to win the title in 2024.

Minnesota Lynx +950
The Lynx have been a big surprise during the first half of the season. Minnesota has the best record of any team in the West, tied with Seattle. The Lynx have been deadly at home, with 11 wins in 14 games. The Lynx are scoring 81.2 points per game and allowing 75. Minnesota is led by a combination of Kayla McBride, Napheesa Collier and Allana Smith. Those three have carried the Lynx all season.
Seattle Storm +1100
Seattle has put on a nice show for their fans in the first half of the season. The Storm have won 11 out of 14 games at home. Seattle starts the second half as one of the hottest teams in the league with three straight wins and 8 out of 10 overall. The Storm are led by Jewell Loyd, who is scoring more than 20 points per game. Seattle has been a nice offensive team, ranking just behind New York and Las Vegas in points scored per game.
Phoenix Mercury +3000
For Mercury fans, it’s nice to see the competitive edge back with the squad. Brittney Griner has played just 15 of the 25 games so far. When she gets back to play consistently, and is healthy, this team is going to be a force. When she does play, she’s at 18.6 points per game, which is second on the squad. Leading the team in scoring has been Kahleah Cooper, with 23.2 points per game.
Indiana Fever +8000
Caitlin Clark is the big story here for Indiana. Do not overlook the impact that both Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston have had on this squad. This is an Indiana team that was the worst WNBA team in the league a season ago. Now, they are third in the East, and 7th overall in the WNBA standings. Indiana needs to get better defensively, as they are allowing nearly 88 points per game, which is the most in the league. The Fever are 80/1 to win it all.
There you have it. Those are the updated odds to win the WNBA Championship in 2024. We are excited about the remainder of the season, and expect to see some great action on the court. Enjoy the games and best of luck with all your WNBA betting!
